Unhappy Feeling Low

I have been working out and eating right and being good 100%. I also saw the results of it. I began my diet on Nov 15th @ 155.5 pounds and as of today weigh 142.5 pounds.

I know I did tremendously well; but I am just feeling so low today and just want to sink my teeth into some comfort foods. I know if I do that I am gonna be miserable tommorow so dont want to do that. Dunno what to do. Help !!!!

I love my results and want to reach 140 pounds by the end of this week.

God help me stay focussed; pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

We all understand.

You have done so well. don't eat the comfort food. Drink water.. its very filling. Munch on healthier foods. Fruit, veggies, yogurt, etc. Go for a run, jog, walk, or w/e. do some exercise until the feeling passes. read a book, watch a movie... something to get your mind off it. Its not worth feeling bad tomorrow. get out of the house. that would get your mind off w/e you have in your house to eat. maybe call a friend and rant to them about whatever is on your mind.

You have done so well. stay on track!!!

Sometimes if you're body is craving comfort food it's because it's telling you it needs something. Find out what you're really craving and see if you can find a way to cautiously add it to your diet today.

A little comfort food isn't bad--and it keeps the metabolism guessing as to what kind of calories it has to burn off.

Funny but they had a dietician (I think thats what she was, I was half asleep) on your USA show called Today...and she said this was a myth and that only pregnant or women with Pmt can use this excuse as it is hormonal.

Come on, you're doing so well! Go look at the scales, think about how well you are doing. Maybe you're still having some withdrawal symptoms from sugary or fatty foods.

You could drink a stomach full of water, or eat as much celery as you want. I once ate an entire lettuce because I was desperate to eat something. I ate it almost like an apple, and it filled me right up, was nice and crunchy, and had very few calories. Plus, all the fibre and water in it is very good for you.

Thank You

All of you here are so wonderful; I did go to the gym and did a spinning class and then came home and went shopping with friends and when we did eat outside I ordered my grilled chicken with greens with no dressing and no salt and no spices and finally I gave myself a big pat on the back. But without all your inspiring messages I dont think I would have been able to this.........love you all....I am all charged up and cant wait to get on the scale tommorow.....

hello, my name is julie and im sort of new to this thing. i am looking to loose weight. i am 5'4 and weigh 140lbs. i read your blog about feeling low. i know what you mean. i, like you have been dieting for what feels like FOREVER. and everytime i DO lose weight, i lose it thru depriving myself and over-exersizing. i dont know if the same goes for u but...I always gain the wieght back, i give in and binge and let myself go all over again.
my best advice...what im trying to do this time around is keep positive. i always get negative. i get lazy and then i get depressed. i try to tell myself to work out so that i feel happier the next day. always try to look forward and think ahead with EVERY step you take on you weight loss journey. TRY to realise how giving in now is going to make u feel later. if u want a sweet, go for a fruit...in the end you'll be just as satisfied, trust me...if your sitting on the couch feeling lazy, just get up and do some sit ups..it WILL get you energised. change yourself from the inside..ive been doing this for afew weeks...dont get me wrong, i do satisfy my cravings here and there..but the healthier you eat and the more often u eat healthy and work out...youd be suprised to find out that you are going to begin CRAVING healthy food and even work outs. TRUST me. stick with it. if i can do it, anyone can
