find a way to exercise outside the gym - go for a walk -do some weight training at home (canned veggies make a good substitute for weights) Dance your butt off to the music -

basically don't sit and be a lump on the sofa watching tv, playing video games or movies and get up and do something

My Curves is going to be closed on and off for about 2 weeks. I plan on doing aerobics, walking, etc... there are lots of other ways.

Ya, my gym will be closed but I promised myself to use my treadmill and to get my hour of exercise in each day no matter what.

I suppose that anyone can always find a reason not to exercise.....I guess we just need to find the motivation and the cunning to outsmart our rationalizations.

Well I desided I would take my dog for a run daily for atleast half an hour. I know it wont burn as much calories as going to the gym but its something.

Running the dog doesn't burn as many calories as the gym? You should try running with my dog!.

By the way, you can map out your run, calculate the distance, and calories burnt here.

running burns a ton of calories. My fitday account says running cross country for 30 minutes burns 252 calories. That's cool.
