I mean in the same way that if you lower fat, you lower calories. One thing you dont want to do is go on the "low-fat, low-carb" diet. Ive seen some people try this, but if you're on low everything, where do you get your calories and energy from?
yea, i thought the same thing, i read up on "low carb diets" and it appears they arent that safe. my guess is u will gain it back afterwards anyway, just like any other "fad" diet...
I'm on the 'No Crappy Food' diet and it's working pretty well for me.
I've cut out soda (all soda), fast food, chips, yummy chocolate foods, and most importantly pasta and white bread. I seriously think I was addicted to pasta, I would eat it almost everyday (dang it's so freakin' good!)
I was also a terrible about eating veggies and fruits and rarely ate a salad, so yeah....my eating habits have definately changed in the past 6 months. Sometimes I seriously miss my old eating habits, there were just so dang tasty!
I'm pretty much on the "Very Little Crappy Food Diet". Same as Kaitie, only I haven't cut anything out entirely. I've cut out about 90% of my soda, junk, etc., and cut back on my portions of pasta and stuff like that.

My vote goes to the "no crappy food" diet or the low cal diet. I sometimes miss crappy food - especially the smell of chips (English fries) with salt and vinegar in the marketplace. I think that the problem with low carb and low fat diets is that they can sometimes fail to distinguish good carbs/fats from bad carbs/fats. We all want to lose weight right? But I think that most of us want to be fitter and healthier too.
