Arrow Eating Habits

I think I need to improve my eating habits. One of the problems I have when eating (especially when Im hungry) is eating too fast.... I heard that eating slowly helps boost metabolism, but have a hard time eating slowly - considering this bad habit of mine... Any suggestions?

The benefit of eating slower is that it lets your brain know when your stomach is full. "they" say that it can take up to 20 min for a bite you just ate to get to your stomach. so ppl who eat fast tend to eat too much then they feel stuffed. and that can lead to gaining weight, so here are some suggestions.
put your fork down between bites
drink a small sip of water(or what ever)between bites
chew your food slowly(again they say you should chew your food 15-20 times before swallowing total over kill i think but its what they say)
dont cut up all your food at once-just cut off one bite at a time.
ummm....thats all i can think of for now

I tried it this lunchtime - and it worked!!! I was sipping orange juice between bites and I felt full even before I started on the cereal... This is good... Moderation is key to losing weight..

Also what can you guys say about eating more in lunch or dinner... Should I always eat a light dinner and have a fuller lunch? Or will it be fine having a light lunch and big dinner?

Hey glad i could help, i think the way it goes when your trying to loose weight is that you have your biggest meal in the morning then a med. sized lunch and a smaller supper.
