hi everyone, my weight is driving me crazy. i've been working out and stuff but my weight is still the same, however the worst part is my fat percentage went up. from 33.1 to 36.1, that really scared me. i started on the slim fast diet. does anyone have any suggestions?

Diet is nothing without exercise and vise versa. I dont like the slimfast diet because it severly restricts calories. Eat small heathly meals every 3 hours and workout in the morning. Everybodys different though, i feel that is the best method.

On the fat percentage thing, depending on what method u used to get your percentages the results may be unreliable. Body fat scales are cool but you have to be very strict about when you take reading and how much water you drink before readings. Calipers kinda suck unless a doctor is doing the reading.

Take small steps to change your diet within your comfort level. Super strict diets and cold-turkey commitments almost ALWAYS result in failure. Think long term. Turn burgers to lean steak, fried chicken into grilled and keep away from breads!

When I started my weight loss regimen...I replaced candy with watery fruits, chips with lowfat turkey jerky, and midnight snacks with V8 juice and dill pickles to waylay the hunger pangs and urges. i kinda "sold my soul to the devil" replacing fatty hi-calorie snacks with super-salty ones, but it worked very well for me. (Keep in mind I do not have blood pressure or heart concerns.)

Good luck!

Breads are goooooood, try to eat whole grains.

Keep in mind you body is able to better process carbs in the morning to midday.

mp breads are not good! oatmeal, yams, brown rice, and stuff like that is. Overall I would say to have bread use whole grain, and some of them say they are but really arent, so if ya buy them watch out.
