Helo - Ate lunch wayyy too late what do I do?

Hi,

I am new to this forum and have a question I hope someone more experienced can help me with...
This is Day 7, all going well, had my brekkie things were going well then my shop got really busy at the last minute and I didnt end up eating my lunch until I got home at 3:15.Does this mean that I have to wait until 8:15 for dinner and then cant sleep until 10? Cause I am soooo tired, I have too small kids, that have been keeping me up I need to go to bed. So the question is do I just skip dinner althogether and just have the snacks. Or have the dinner and then go to bed on a full stomach? Does anyone know how much difference it makes?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me!

Bella

Bella- I had this happen to me early on in the program. If you are having a different protein to what you had for lunch I would wait the 5 hours before eating your dinner but still go to bed when you need to as sleep is very important. If you are having the same protein for dinner that you had for lunch then it wouldn't hurt so much to eat before the 5 hrs is up as you would not be mixing your proteins. One of the most important aspects of the program is not mixing proteins, hence the 5hr rule. I would not skip any meals as that would upset the balance even more. Remember "food is your medicine." Don't stress too much about it. These things happen in life. Cheers, Cate.
