Rep Power: 353 | | | Sorry to be a pain everyone but I just have one more quick question about the fruit.
Does anyone know (for example) we are allowed 150g of mango or 160g of kiwi which equals one piece of fruit. Are we allowed to have 75g of mango and 80g of kiwi and still class this as one piece of fruit??? There are no stipulations on when we can eat the fruit, and I don't think they say that we can't eat our 2 pieces of fruit together. I just thought it might be nice to have a couple of different fruits in my yoghurt in the morning and thought I'd better check first.
Talk to you all soon.

Rep Power: 0 | | I was just told I could have one medium size of any one of the fruits on my list (except Mango which has 150 grams written beside it) and that I should NOT have my fruits together, but I could have fruit salad to the equivalent of ONE fruit. Clear as mud

Rep Power: 0 | | | fruit rjm: my plan specifies the quantities of fruit as you mention but in an update from my clinic it says "you shouldn't eat the fruits together. Nor should you have 2 small fruits in place of 1 medium, or any dried fruit or fruit juices. Don't squeeze lemon into your tea or water. If you do then it is counted as one piece of fruit from your allowance". It explains fruit contains sugar, so having more than you are allowed will trigger insulin and interefere with the processes taking place in your body due to the Eating Plan.
A quote from this update: If the mind is focused the body will surely follow.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I had been told I could combine fruit and no mention to have the 2 servings at separate times. I quite often have 1 1/2 pieces at night time.

I've just returned from dinner at my sister's house, and I am proud to say that I didn't even contemplate eating anything that wasn't allowed. I cooked my meal before I left and while they ate their roast dinner I ate my Cohens dinner, and while they ate their rice pudding for dessert, I had my 5 pieces of chewing and I am now enjoying my sprite zero. As my sister said after dinner, in the morning she will probably have gained a kilo and I'll probably have lost one. She kept appologising through the meal that I couldn't eat what they were eating, but I told her she didn't need to appologise as it was my choice to not eat the food. It felt really good to say that and I do feel that I am gaining real control of myself and my emotions. I didn't feel at all deprived.
Anyway, I just thought I would share that with you all, hopefully I will be posting another loss tomorrow morning.
Have a great night everyone.
Talk to you all soon.

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi All, RJM - Well done. Im wondering what it will be like at my sons 18th Birthday which is coming up in December. I think you should be really proud of yourself. What an achievement. You go girl! BRIEZIEL & LIVING IT - Just wondering how you girls are coming along. Got my period today and thought Id weigh myself out of curiosity to see how much Id gained. 2kg since yesterday morning. LOL Didnt feel disheartened though as I know thats normal. You both seem to be exceeding very well and should be proud of yourselves. Glad to hear your seeing the results Brieziel. Its such an amazing thing to happen so quickly. Ive never experienced anything like it on any other weight loss program. Its UNREAL!!!! I LOVE it sooooooooo much.
Well, its late and Ive a headache, so its time to chill out before bedtime as I have to wait till at least 11pm before I hit the hay as I didnt eat dinner till 9pm. Enough of my drivvle.
Night all and hope you all had a light day.
Cheers

Rep Power: 0 | | No Weight Lost... My weight loss pattern have been that same way.... not losing for a couple of weeks and than sudden drop... My weight have been staying at 75.9KG for a couple of weeks... mainly due to the few deviations I had, wedding dinner and company's dinner... Going to have another wedding dinner tomoro night and I will continue to stick on to the program like super glue from than on... Hopefully i will be in my 60s KG range when xmas come...
I was at my company's dinner and dance last night.. and happened my ex company's dnd was around the same place so I dropped by to say hello to my excolleagues.. and I really felt that my effort paid off.. everyone was complimenting on my weight loss and how different i looked.. so all who are going to embark on the Cohen journey, trust the program!!! Its will make a very big difference to your life!!! MINI GOAL:IN THE RANGE OF 60KG BEFORE 25TH DEC

Rep Power: 0 | | that time Well I did it good last night, but it was still a deviation. I managed fish and salad, but unfortunately the fish really didn't agree with me - so today wasn't day 1. I've not been able to look or stomach food today. How's that as a big I told you so. So tomorrow ladies and if there's any gents out there - I HEREBY DECLARE MY ABSOLUTE DEDICATION WITH NO DEVIATIONS* TO COHENS.
Just you keep your eye on my ticker people. I'm going to amaze and inspire one and all and best of all ME.
Speaking of periods... not that we want to. But this diet seriously screws with my cycle. I used to be like a clock. But as soon as I start, it's random and sometimes will go for weeks (longest was 4 weeks)! I remember my consultant couldn't give me any reasons for this and it left me feeling really shyte if you could imagine. Has anyone else had problems? I'm on quite a strong pill as I used to have terrible periods... I'm guessing as most of you will probably tell me, it does work our hormones in ways, but sometimes it just gets outa hand!
Here's to looking hot! Goal 1: Day 1 Monday.
*Goal 2: No deviations for 1 week (so stay tuned for next Sunday).
Goal 3: Drop 10kg stat.

You have all been doing amazing this week - congratulations yet again! Today marks one full week on the program and I am impressed! For those of you who read my posts earlier in the week, you would have known that I was feeling very unwell. These feelings subsided a bit, but still hung around for the first 4 days so I can only presume my body was in shock (and desperately wanted chocolate!) but I stuck to my guns throughout the week. I seem to be eating the exact same thing every single day, but am happy to do so for now, it's nice and easy. I wanted to let you all know that I weighed myself this morning, couldn't help it! I have lost 4kg in one week!!! I was so excited, I mean I AM so excited. I know that normally in your first week you lose more but I don't care, it's gone and it's never coming back! My digital scales actually flashed up 82.8 this morning and I could have fainted right then and there! I can never remember weighing under 83kg! Next week I will for sure though! Anyway, I better go and weigh out my veg for my morning omelette but I will talk with you all again soon!

Rep Power: 0 | | Great work BB, losing weight and seeing the scales go down certainly keeps you motivated doesn't it?
so i see that you're getting married, do you have your dress? Have you prepared the dressmaker that they're going to be having to take it in a lot? I heard of a girl on a bridal forum that did Cohen's and her dressmaker told her to stop losing weight, cos the dress was having to get smaller each fitting LOL
good luck with the continued weight loss and all your wedding plans

Rep Power: 0 | | | Well done RJM for getting through the family dinner.
In regards to the fruit - my program doesnt say that I cant mix my fruits. Can anyone tell me if you can mix egg and cheese? Or is this a no no.
Having trouble with my water intake at the moment. Just not thirsty at all.
