Yes I am allowed 3 peices of fruit per day! I must admit that I didnt really like fruit before, but now I am learning to love it...The peaches at the moment a yummo
Hey Di! I have been giving Ava extra water and massaging her tummy and she seems to be going ok now. My SIL is a naturopath and she told me to massage these pressure points on her arms and legs for the large intestine and it seems to be helping How is Maddies teething going? Hope that you have been getting some big sleeps!
Hi Sam I think I might be with Di and a cold cheese person. I microwaved the cheese with the cauli and then it went all watery LOL. I am not the greatest cook, but I will try your recipe, it sounds yummy
Well, I am a bit disappointed, it is my 5th day with no loss, in fact I put on 200g. Have been doing everything correctly, I think. Yesterday I had my blood test and (its a long story)didnt end up eating brekkie until 10.30. Was very proud of myself for eating 5 hours apart, even though I started so late.
Maybe its the water, I have been drinking about 2 litres, plus 2 cans of Sprite Zero? Anyway will press on as I know it has to come off at some stage!
Hope everyones slimming is going well, skinny thoughts!
Kim

The other way to do the cheese is to melt under a open grill.
Roast your vegies first then place cheese on top and grill.

Sorry I must have hit a button that posted before i had finished.
Do you record what you eat everyday on those menu planner sheets?
Maybe you can go back through them and then check with your consultant.
Increasing your water id definitely a good thing.

Rep Power: 0 | | | D-uh I did it again! Yep, totally lost it again today. Was nearly through the day when everything went haywire and I ate 3 bread rolls with peanut butter and a cookie. Again in a stressful situation and when tired and discouraged. Rather than get all upset like last time and throw in the towel for a couple of days I will just pick up where I left off yesterday...hopefully.
Lessons to be learnt
Stop weighing myself daily - cant stand the disappointment, even though I know it has no logic, cant help it.
Keep nothing high carb around that I can just "grab"
Find outlet for stress other than eating...Maybe more excercise...Taking deep breaths and time-out.
Be more conscious of compulsive nature of stress eating.
Write daily timetable, plan things a bit better.
Prioritise. More important to control what is going in my mouth than what is going on momentarily.
I tried on clothes today that I havent worn in years and they fit so nicely. I bought a size 14 skirt for the first time in 5 years yesterday. This diet does work, I am on my way to a healthier me. Just need to get to the bottom of this compulsion and I think my life will be changed for the better. For ever.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Don't be so hard on yourself! Hello Kimmy
Hope your doing well and are back on track, it's so hard isn't it. You/we will get there one meal at a time. try saving fruits till the end of the day so there your sweet treat/dessert, i do that and it really helps. I'm constantly wanting all kinds of food and I think it's cause I know I'm not allowed to eat them. I wish I could reprogramme my brain to dislike all sweet, chocolatey foods then i'd be fine, i was looking at biscuits today and was thinking ohhhhh I cant wait till i can eat you again, but again in moderation. I have 16.4 kilo's to go and together we can do this the fat me has lost the battle and the skinny me is going to finally win this race. it's about time too.
This is and will be my last diet, and I will stay my goal weight for life. PM any time you need to vent of refocus, i think having a baby makes it harder, as your that little bit more emotional and that little extra tired and then you just want to eat that little bit extra. not that 5 grams extra of vegies are going to make me feel fuller or anything, but my brain says of yeah 5 grams extra you need that. no i don't.
Sorry if I just rambled, but what i'm trying to say is that I understand and know how hard it is. i struggle daily. and I know that together we can do this and lose our fatness once and forall.
good luck and i'll talk to u soon.
dianne

Di is right - don't be so hard on yourself - look at what you have already achieved - forget about the penut butter - that's done now and history. What a great idea about putting the scales in the car.
When I feel down I usually don't post much in here, I just read and read. I find it takes the desire to eat or the bad mood away.
Don't feel as though there is something wrong because you are having a struggle - you are a human being with a million temptations in front of you. You are also doing this with the added stress of a baby. I admire your determation and I think seeking answers the way you do can only lead to long term success.
You can do it

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks so much for your kind words and support girls! Honestly when I was feeling really down yesterday you picked me up and gave me the boost I needed to get going again, you are awesome!
Well back on track, luckily my break wasnt long, so I slipped back into it really easily. I had a huge sleep this afternoon, so I am feeling almost human. Now I just gotta hope she sleeps tonight!
Hey Di, do you reckon being sleep deprived affects your loss? I was really, really tired this week, so maybe?
Hope you are having a lovely weekend - and once again, thanks so much for being there!

Rep Power: 0 | | Just want to record what a great day I had today...
Firstly I have had alot of virtual strangers (people that work in my local shopping centre) compliment me on my weight loss so I feel that all the hard work is starting to pay off. This morning I wanted to wear something nice, so I put on a top that I bought 6 - 8 weeks ago for an engagement party and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. It was huge, just hanging off me, like someone elses clothes...couldnt believe it as it used to be snug!
Then I went shopping for something to wear to a wedding in 2 weeks and I kept picking up size 16's and nearly all the main brands like David Lawrence, Country Road, Events were all too big and I ended up buying a size 14 vintage style top from David Lawrence. Admittedly those brands are all very roomy, but I dont mind
Finally I went to a dinner party tonight and I ate beforehand as planned. I didnt want to feel deprived so I bought fresh tuna ($49.99 a kilo and marinated it in balsamic, tumeric, paprika and fresh coriander then bbq'd it. Served with stir fried veggies it was amazing, I enjoyed it soo much that I didnt care that I missed out on fat soaked crepes and fried chicken!!! So thankyou for the suggestion lessfatty, I LOVED it!!!
All in all a lovely Cohens day. Off to beddie byes now...
