Keep it up, you are doing really well!!! I have finished my first week and yay I have lost 5kg. This journey at times is a really trying one, but you just need to keep on keeping on. I weighed as much as you did the first time I went on cohens, I lost all my weight easily, but with a really trying pregnancy and a year off breastfeeding I think I kinda lost the plot. So I am back to do it all over again.... I was once told "Nothing tastes as good as losing weight feels" I just keep thinking of this saying and it gets me through those really hard days. 9.2 kg is absolutely fantastic and I cannot wait until the day I am below 100kg again!!! Best of luck B and I look forward to taking this cohens journey with you.
With thoughts of slimness
Jodee

Its funny how hearing other peoples sucess makes you feel like "I" can do it too. I jumped on the scales before I threw them out lol and I was 96. So I am back on the loss wagon not sure whether they were correct but it gave me some hope for this week.
I know about the babys thing...I had a lovely 9 months of ignorance eating and then a new social life with mummys for morning tea and niceys. Now I am back at work part time I can get away from the eating part of it and usually catch up in a park or the phone
Good luck Jodee wont be long before we a healthier slimmer version of what we are today..damm someone is baking biscuits I hope my refeed is nice to baked goods..lol

I'm a 4th of the way and still as eager as I was on starting day, people are starting to comment which is good for the ego for rapid weight loss it still takes time

Rep Power: 0 | | | OK kicking this thread back into order, everything was going along swimmingly until easter and the dreaded cheesecake and easter egg saga...I learnt my lesson had a treat but now it is time to take these last 15 kilos by the horns and get rid of them..I am pumped !!! LOL
On a good note my ILs have been away for 6 months my nephew thought that DH had a new girlfriend LOL what ever happened to his married wife of 10 years. That was nice in a kinda freaky way..The inlaws come home on Sunday they havent seen me past 5 kilo lost...now I have cool funky dark hair and am a shadow of my former self...should be interesting.

Rep Power: 0 | | Had another outing that was dedicated to food..an engagement party, so many people said they didnt recognise me. I'm still having issues taking compliments about my weight its something I havent had to deal with all my life and now they want to talk about it all the time...how I have done it which I dont mind talking cohens until someone knows someone that has done it all before and put it all back on!!! Grwll I never have the heart to ask if they knew whether the person did it throu to re-feed. Did they think that after Cohens you can consume all the junk food that you can fit in your stomach. Enough of my rant....Today is day 1 of my new Cohens metafore I was starting to lose the plot with Cohens thinking sneaking bits and pieces shouldnt hurt but it does!!. I have made an appointment with my consultant next week and I think I am going to do weekly appointments again just until I lose another 10 kilos ...I'll try and pretend that I have the "I have just started stamina" .
Ohh well enough of me I'll go and drink another litre of water

Rep Power: 6 | | | YOU GET BACK ON THAT WAGON GIRLY !!!!!!!
Good on you Bee for seeing the error of your ways, and taking the steps to correct it. We are on one mighty big mental challenge here, and taking the initiative to speak to your consultant on a weekly basis is a great first step. You'll have that 100% determination back in no time.
I'm a little funny about the comments re. the weight loss too. I hate people making a big deal about things regarding me, and even though the only one who has really done it is my mum, which is fine, but she did it in public last weekend and started pointing it out to people...i was so embarrassed, but i guess as more weight falls off, it's going to happen more too.
Keep up the great work hun. I'm so proud of you and you'll be in the 70's before you know it...xxxx

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi Bee, it must feel so good (on some level-- the not embarrassed one! )-- to have all your hard work noticed! I can't wait to reach that point...
Good job coming back on board! I'm sending good thoughts, stamina, and willpower your way...
BTW, how did the inlaws respond to the new improved you?

Good for you getting back on to it, you are so nearly there and have your weight loss so far is fantastic. Just start fresh and before you know it, you will be ordering re-feed. All the lovely compliments you have been receiving you must be looking so good, keep up the great work!
Imagine next time you see these people, their jaws will drop down as you will be looking sooooooooo much better.
Be the one they talk about when they have their Cohens story, when they say "Oh i know someone who did Cohens and they lost so much weight and kept it off" they will be talking about you!
Good Luck, you know what you have to do to make it happen!

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks girls..it is a hard thing to get into your mind that YES we are shrinking and we have worked hard and "I" should stand up tall and say thank you for the comments instead of thinking HOW did I ever get that big.
Minny: My little cheer leader...hope wok is treating you ok
BabyFatNo More:The Inlaws are due back on sunday so it will be interesting to see them again.
Annie:Thanks for the words of wisdom..I will be the girl that lost it on cohens all those years ago and kept it off..positive thoughts. Yes and re-feed is so close..I think they said at 71 kilos so only a few good months of loss away!
DH made me go to an ANZAC day parade and took a photo of me on my phone with daughter, It was the first time I looked at myself and neally had to look twice cause it didnt look like the old fat me, it must take the mind a little bit more time to catch up.
Ahh enough for me
Bee
Happy that I did Cohens instead of Biggest Loser, Laura lost less than me and it has been the same time I started..Than goodness I have only stepped into a gym once since starting Cohens

Rep Power: 6 | | BeeG, it really blows the mind when we see photos of the new and improved us. It took me awhile for the brain to catch up with the rest of me. Whilst we look in the mirror daily, I find that I don't tend to notice the loss significantly, it's only when I see a photo of myself that I really notice the difference.
I'm so pleased that you are back on the wagon. Don't sweat over Easter, it is long gone now. Less than 15kgs until refeed, way to go girlie. Print off that photo of you at the march and put it on the fridge next to a before photo. See how much incentive that gives you to nibble . Keep up the good work, you are so close and we will organise that cuppa one day soon.
Lauren
