Rep Power: 0 | | | Bee's diary - My cohens journey Ok this is to keep me honest, I am the biggest excuse maker and really this time it is laying fairly flat on me to loose this huge amount of weight I have been carring around.
I'm not sure how I got here years of fertility drugs havent helped nor starting heavier than I should but that is all in the past.
I am looking forward to being thin....it is going to happen eventually
D Day ~ Info session, to be honest they could of told me to stand on my head for an hour and I would of. I am getting to the point where I can seem to find time to do things for everyone except me. So its my time now. As an overeater does forgot to have breakfast which actually worked out ok cause I took my blood test slip and had it done on the way home.
Ok so now I have been on Cohens for 2 weeks tomorrow, so far so good. Every now and again I have hungry days and then I can look at my watch and be suprised it is 2.30 and I havent had lunch.
So my first goal is to be less than 100kg
Then to be lighter than my husband
Then to be light enough for him to carry me around
And all I want to do is to be able to shop in a normal store and be stared at cause guee hasnt she lost weight not because guee hasnt she put some weight on.
Better go get me a ticker !!!!
B

Rep Power: 7 | | | Hi Bee and welcome
I read your post and a lot of what you wrote sounded like me. I have had many hormone problems over the years and have put on weight without really trying. I have been doing cohens for 11 weeks tomorrow and now I am losing weight without really trying.
Best of luck - look forward to watching your ticker along the way....

Rep Power: 5 | | Hey there Bee G. Welcome.
Did I read somewhere else that you have already lost 9kg - and you've only been on Cohen's for 2 weeks?
Wow.
You must feel so motivated with that sort of weight loss.
Well done and keep going.
Lily

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks...I'm kinda in the stoked part of weight loss although I am noticing that it is getting harder not to look at cake shops or worse still pasta or bread.
Had a bad night with my little toddler last night damm teeth and sure that my broken 6 hrs wont be kind, heres hoping that tonight may be better.
I said I would never need my chewing gum allowance its funny now after a couple of weeks it is my savour against bad breathe lol
Work days are so much better than home days although trying to run a business and running to the loo isnt all that great.

Actually found that Vaalia do a little tub of yougurt less 2% in 175grams my allowance yah for small miracles
My little one is sick it was a challange to make lunch for me when she was wanting cuddles all day. Thankfully I did a cheese plate very quickly and on a down note I separated all my chicken into individual bags weighing them out I measured 5 grams too much so it looks like I'm going to have to re weigh before cooking them dammmmm

I found the Vaalia as well great when in a rush.
Hope your little one gets better i still get up during the night with my 2 boys.
It's definitely stressy coping when you haven't had much sleep that seems to trigger the hunger pangs even more, but you seem to be planning well.
I have mixed up my chicken with my meat measurements - and I had already frozen it..........argh!!!!!!
Well done so far Beeg - there are definitely moments of temptation experienced during this diet but yes i chew the gum I'm concious of the breath as well and drink the water.
I've just started varying my meals abit more and experimenting with recipes.
I stuck to the same foods the first 4 weeks and now I am entering my 8th week so it is good to add some changes to the food.
Wishing you skinny thoughts.
Sam

Rep Power: 0 | | I was buying the little tubs of vaalia for quick easy breakfasts but someone said on one of threads the other day that they don't actually weigh 175g so I measured one (I scooped it out of the container into another one) and they are right. The one I measured only measured 160g but hey they are close and quick in a rush...
Skinny hugs
Allana

nice to meet you and good luck! Loved your goals of being lighter than your husband and the next for him to be able to pick you up! I would love the same!
I noticed you all talking about Vaalia yogurt, I too have been eating it for breakfast mixed with a mango (there is no way I could have it plain!). Are you guys eating it plain or mixing something thru it?
This is just my first week so trying to find something I like arrrgggh, I know the first week is suppose to be the hardest, so this forum is the only thing keeping me sane and giving me encouragment.

Try putting your yoghurt, mango allowance and 1/2 cup of Sprite Zero, in a blender and whizzing it up. Makes a yummy mango smoothie. Someone suggested this to me when I first started and it is a life saver. I hate yogurt but I like this.

Rep Power: 0 | | I have been eating it plain but after 3 weeks I'm starting to dread opening the tub and seeing the same old watery crud lol yes I am over it. I am going to get adventerous and try a few different mixtures, it should get me thru till I am a skinny minny.
This week has been hard not much action on the scales it gets depressing, but I can definatley start to feel it in my flubbly tummy DH mentioned the other night it looked different lol not smaller but different.
Week 3 consultation tomorrow, I'm alittle over having to go and talk to them it is good if I was struggling or needed to ask anything but usually it is a quick chat and thats it unlike next week which is weigh in (4 weeks). Its a pain to get someone to look after my daughter otherwise a 2 year old can do alot of damage in a cohens centre lol as I found out once and she wont be going back again
To all those first weekers in 3 weeks you wont be starving OMG I use to count down the minutes I could eat usually I could do all my fruit and crispbread allowance by lunch time you could image me at 4.00pm. I forgot 1 piece of fruit yesterday and 3 crispbreads so yah and didnt require to eat as soon as I walked in from work another thing 2 weeks ago I needed too.
Water has been hard the last few days I either forget early and then end up guzzling litres before bed that requires 32 loo trips thru the night or I forgo a litre..I will work towards that this week..it is easier when you are at home tho no one takes notice of how many times I go
Better go and make something nice for lunch..I'm feeling lazy today I'm sure it is going to be a chunk of cucumber and cheese lol I aint a gourmet cook.
Thanks for all the messages girls it is so nice to have people around Australia and the world eating the same as me
Lily:Great smoothie I love things that just get thrown together
Jo: Hang in there chook it is hard but once you see a few weeks hard work it gets easier
Kelly: Whats baymix? Hmm maybe I'm slow. We are going to all be skinny little things..anyone want to borrow my size 10 boob tube
Bee

A baymix/barmix is just the same as a blender, just a mini version, I just weight out yogurt and fruit in a bowl, and whizz it with the bay mix - done - not as much cleaning as a blender....lol, with two young boys to feed, dress and get of to school, easy is great!!!!!!
You are doing fantastic Bee - keep up the good work! We are the designers of our destiny - I am destined to be slim and healthy! Have a great cohen's Day!

Rep Power: 0 | | | Thanks Kelly Have just been done to the fruit shop and stocked up on nice fruits lol that is anything than an apple...OVER APPLES.
Weight loss has slowed down but was expecting it especially when I did weigh the valia tubs and measured 150 my consultant said to buy big tub and weigh something I was doing up until I thought I found a sign from God to make it easier to lose weight.
Oh well next week is 4 weeks I'll try and put a big one in this week

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks Nonna, I just love that so many of us are on on our way to slimness . I cant wait till next week to weigh my scales are playing funny buggas with me so I have decided not to do it any more.
Today has been a hard day for the first time in ages I am going thru hunger pangs and wanted something NOW! Hopefully it is my body eating my fat
Going to bed early tonight just incase I can lose a little more
