Hi Gigi, I'll pop in to see you on Friday & check out your new look. You must be getting really excited about your DH's imminent return! He'll be playing golf against my LH in a couple of weeks apparently in a funny co-incidence! I'm in a bit of a hurry today. Good luck with the paperwork,(something I don't miss about being self-employed). Thanks for your comments in my diary, cheers, Cate.

hey gina

Thanks for the wise words.. the headaches have settled now as of yesterday but I've just had the worst two days ever for such a long time. No deviations other than pain killers for me though

It's going to feel so good getting that new do! Your hubby won't even recognise you!

Gina/cate - golf?? Typical!! The bf just went on Sunday.. it was good to have some time to myself actually

The paperwork and BAS that you are in the middle of will certainly help you keep your mind off in between meals, and before you know it another week will have gone I'm sure. Work for me is so busy, the day flies by. I forget to drink enough water but I'm working on it..

Hope you like your new hair do! I'm sure the Hubby will love it

Two more sleeps to weigh in!

Cate - You're welcomed.

Purpleone - Good to hear the headaches have passed.

TWO more sleeps to my first weigh in and ONE more sleep till hubby is home. It will be interesting to see what his reaction will be when he sees me. Can't wait!!!

Boy, what an absolutely horrible day weather wise. I't raining/pouring, exteremly windy and just cold and miserable. I wouldn't blame anyone for not going out in it today. - Cate understand if you don't drop in....

The new hairdo even if I say so myself, looks good. Very different to what I had before. Colour next week! It's all part of the 'new me'.

My bookeeper and I were working till 11.00pm last night getting things sorted for the financials and YEAH I posted my BAS this morning so I'm feeling quite relieved as it is due on Monday. I'm putting a ban on paperwork, well for a couple of days at least.

As the late night was not planned, I only managed to have a bit of salad with no protein for dinner, but at least I had something to eat and didn't skip a meal completely. Food wise I haven't experimented quite as much this week and mainly had stir fries (all correct allowances) which I quite enjoy. They are quick to make and I find them quite filling.

Tomorrow (Saturday) I will be doing an Adult Education course called 'Polymer Clay' which should be interesting and a bit of fun. I think we are making some jewellery from it. I'm really looking forward to the course and if the weather is anything like today, it will be a good day to be indoors and baking things in an oven.

Oh, I was nearly correct with my cm loss last week. It was actually 11.5 cms that I lost. Every little bit counts! A total of 41.5cms now.

Might go and make a cuppa and another cup of hot water to try and defrost from the inside out. More poor toes are so cold.....

Keep up the great work ladies and I'll report back after the weekend.

Cheers
Gina

Hi Gina, It was a dreadful day wasn't it! I still came in as I had promised my MIL I would take her shopping. I tore around doing my shopping first & then spent the rest of the afternoon tearing around with her in the teaming rain! I will call in next week instead. I hope your DH is suitably impressed with his "new," much slimmer wife when he gets home! I'm sure he will be! Enjoy your Sunday(), cheers, Cate.

Losses after Four Weeks!!!!

Sunday 12th August 07 - First weigh in after starting the program. Even though the temptation was there on a few occasions to weigh myself, I'm pleased that I waited for the 4th week. My loss was 7.1kgs!!. Yeah my Ticker is on the move..........: This was a fantastic surprise for me firstly and then secondly for my husband who returned home the day before from being overseas for 4 weeks. He said he could certainly notice the difference especially in my face. I now only have a couple of chins instead of multiples...............

Cate, "DH was suitably impressed with his "new," much slimmer wife".

After seeing this great result, naturally I couldn't wait to re-measure and another 8cms gone, making a total of 49.5cms in four weeks!! One place I have noticed a difference is in my calves (I measured these too - 3cm on each calf - gone). Previously when putting on my knee length boots (have two pairs), depending what socks I wore, it was a bit of a struggle doing the zips up on both but now - hey presto - I can wear thick socks and the zip just zips up no problems. It feels great! Pants are slowly becoming more comfortable to wear. Warning to those clothes in the cupboard that have been hibernating for quite sometime - your resting time will be over soon as I'm getting ready to re-fit back into my slimmer clothes. Look out!

Had a couple of challenges along the way with being out and about at meal times and not having my food with me, however I felt quite pleased myself that I conquered them well. Just chose to have a small salad with an egg (for my protein) on one occasion and eye fillet steak and salad on another. In relation to portion size, I just estimated this and didn't eat everything that was on my plate. I think it is getting easier however next week while I'm interstate will be a real challenge. I just have to remember my achievements so far and focus on that so that I don't undo the good that I have done.

I'll try to check in before I leave on Saturday for my trip. It's going to be a very hectic week, lots of appointments with wholesalers/manufacturers so I'll be looking forward to coming home and seeing what everyone has achieved whilst I've been away.

Take care, keep on slimming and be happy!

Gina
