I myself have lost 15kg in a little under a month so am extremely happy with that. In regards to the financial outlay, I too found it a little prohibitive but Cohens do offer a payment plan and through that I only need to pay about $40 per fortnight. It comes directly out of my bank account, maybe that could be an option you could investigate.
I hope we get to see you on here in the near future telling us about your amazing results

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey! hi everyone.
Does any one track their measurements? I didn't until cohen's rang and he said that it is a better way to keep track of your weight loss. So I went to the gym (finally) and got my measurements that were taken when I started, and I was 3kg lighter than when I started cohens, I had a total loss of 65.5 cm from my whole body!!! It was so good. Now I'm going to do it every week.
Hope everyone stays strong. Just remember this is just for a time!
Have a great week |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Tracking measurements and PCOS Hi all - my weigh in is tomorrow - fingers crossed!
I track all my measurements weekly and I use a website that is great -http://www.extrapounds.com
It has weight logs, trackers, graphs for cm weight loss!! Its good.
I also have PCOS - I've been on the program for about 7-8 weeks now. The periods don't seem to have become regular yet, but I'm waiting to see. Hoping to see an improvement in mood, hair, skin etc. I figure I need to lose a little more than I have to start seeing improvements though. I must say, I'm not looking to get pregnant at this point though!!
Have a good evening everyone! |

Just in response to some of the queries about stats about people keeping their weight off!
My consultant said that as long as people do their refeed properly, nearly all have maintained their weight. She said that 20% of her clients don't complete the program, and deviate majorly and they end up failing and regaining all their weight and more, but for the people who stick to it 100% and lose the weight, they don' t tend to put the weight back on.
Also, because you are given the tools to lose the weight again if you do put on a few kilos you can lose it quickly. The key is to act quickly.
I have found it really easy to lose the weight I put back on when on holidays, just by cutting out carbs for a few days. I can put on 3 kgs in a week but can lose it in a few days!
It is encouraging to know that I can go back on the program again as well if I need to.
It is interesting that there seems to be no detractors for Cohens or TLC program (I did the TLC program, very similar). Perhaps it is because it is not well publicised, or perhaps so many people have good results that there are no complaints. Not sure that there has been that much media coverage of it.
Or perhaps there is some stuff out there bagging it, we just have not found it yet!
All very interesting though!
I keep checking the posts because I think I am a bit addicted to it! And also I have found it a useful way to keep inspired to stay on the straight and narrow. Also interested to see how you guys are going, and see your progress.
Also, the Life After Cohens thread has died a bit of a death, noone is really posting on there.
And I just enjoy checking the posts and stuff.
Anyway, well done all of you, I know how hard all of this is. I have been through it all!
Stay strong!

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi there guys, thanks for the response, looks like i may join up, sounds like u actually eat more than on the sureslim program, and you are allowed Sprite Zero!!!, my favourite, love it!!, and u can have something between meals!!, that was a HUGE no no on my old program, which just did my head in!! sounds a million times better! and alot more doable!, im used to weighing food (eg chicken and vegies, yoghurt etc) and have become very organised in that department, I preweighed all my chicken to exactly 130g and vegies all in sep little containers for the week, so very organised, program sounds great!, wish id come across this before i gave my money to sureslim, oh well live and learn!, thanks again for the replies, helped alot with decision. regards Ange xo |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi everyone. Just popping in to say my computer probs have been resolved and I am still on track with no deviations. I am getting to close to having less than 10kg to lose and thats quite a landmark, so am looking forward to that , perhaps by end of next week.
It seems everyone is doing well and I say to those who are wondering about the program. DO IT! You won't regret it.

Rep Power: 0 | | Well, I'm starting next week too.
Blood test tomorrow. Should have the programme next tuesday. But I won't start till Wednesday as I have a function Tuesday night and I'll make it my last hurrah.
I have 85kg to lose, trust me, it seems daunting.
But then so is death. And that's where I'm headed if I don't take some of this pressure off my system.
That's the stark reality of it.
We'll do it together, eh?

Rep Power: 0 | | Hello! Hi Everyone,
Just found this forum tonight, while doing a bit of research about Cohen's on the internet.
I started Cohen's earlier this month (3 weeks ago) at 118.5kg, and I'm down to 111.3kg as of today.
I received a letter in the mail yesterday advising me that the clinic that I signed up at is closing at the end of this month. I go to the Joondalup clinic in WA. Well, I'm shocked to say the least - I haven't even had my first weigh in!! I noticed some pages back in this thread that the same thing has happened in Melbourne. The stories seem very similar. What is going on?
The letter said that the Booragoon clinic will be looking after us from now on, but does that mean that we will receive the same treatment from them? ie weigh in's etc etc. I'm quite concerned that I've spent $680 on a one year contract and three weeks into it the clinic closes, I can't get my money back (I assume) and I'm told that another clinic (which obviously hasn't received money from me or anyone else previously at the Joondalup clinic) is now going to look after us???? |

I'm only new too, but welcome anyway!
Go into your USER CP, then click on EDIT SIGNATURE (on the top left section) then you'll see a little yellow box, directly above where you type stuff in. The box looks like it's got a little mountain in it. if you hover the mouse over it, it'll say 'insert image'.
Then a box will come up saying 'insert url of image'. Cut the line you put into your post (the one that comes up as a link) into this box and hit 'ok'.
Now you can preview your signature and the actual ticker should show up. PM me if you have trouble.

Rep Power: 12 | | | Something really amazing happened tonight. My dad has a small windfall today and he bought Kentucky Fried Chickens to celebrate. ITS MY FAVOURITE FOOD. But funny enough, I don't feel the urge to eat it. I sat beside my brother (I told him to eat my share) and enjoy the smell. I guess my blood sugar must be really in balance and that's why I totally dun feel the urge to eat it. Even my mum was amazed. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
