Rep Power: 0 | | | Fifty2drop Thanks so much - its been really tough especially no deviation but i know myself if i fall off the wagon it was take me years to get back on. That has always been my pattern - i have lost 25 kgs many times in my life but always put it back on falling into my habits and patterns. Ofcourse none of my earlier diets were portion control or so structured rather pure starvation or completely unrealistically - atkins / liquid diet / so hoping this will do the trick and the refeed should put me on the right track. Ofcourse at 42 i will need to be very focussed on maintaining the weight loss - they say if you can maintain the loss for a year or two you are well on your way.
thanks for your support and encouragement!!

Rep Power: 0 | | | 7 weeks I was perfect till 6 weeks no deviations and then in this last week 3 days of deviation. Feel terrible and awful and have hopefully redeemed myself from today - cant bear to stand on the scale just in case. weigh in at 8 weeks on the 23rd will deal with it then. I was just seconds away from deviating for a long time - when i ate i realised i was not really missing anything - and feel good about that hopefully more power to stay on track and not deviate till my 12 week weigh in!!!

"Nothing tastes as good as slim will feel".
You can do it. As CohenInAz says get right back on plan, be deviation-free from now on & you will be at goal weight that much quicker. Put it behind you & move on. All the food will be waiting for you at the end but you will have the skills to know what to eat & when so that you do not regain the weight. Enjoy your friends & family at Christmas. The food does not matter. There will be many more Christmases. Take care, Cate. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | max66 thanks guys - i caved in and weighed myself and have put on 400 grams, back on the plan today and feeling stupid!!!! really stupid but determined to stay on track because as you say cate - NOTHING tastes as good as being SLIM feels!!! so true when i was eating yesterday it was nothing exciting at all - it felt different but i was so bloated last night, very uncomfortable and woke up with an allergic rash!!! def the non diet food and body reacting to it. could not eat my diet dinner last night i was so full. (i ate a tortilla with potato and some chips around 5pm and one small bite of a chocolate) - waste of time totally.
but today is another day and i am back on track. by the way did any of you excersize thru the program and if not when did you start. i have yet to start that part of it and was wondering if i should or wait 12 weeks and then do it. ideas welcome!!! |

Rep Power: 59 | | Max66, The only exercise I did whilst on program was a leisurely walk. If I tried tackling anything too strenuous I got dizzy & very hungry.
I'll quote from my program-
"It is preferable that you do not exercise whilst on your Eating Plan. However, you can usually maintain your current exercise program, providing it is not excessive. Do not start a new exercise regime if you are not already doing one. A sign of excessive exercise is hunger".
Once again, you have plenty of time to exercise when you get to goal weight and it will be much easier & more comfortable & will make maintaining much easier. It is also quite amazing how your skin retracts after Cohen's. |
