waiting for programme: nervous and excited

Hello

I'm waiting for my cohen's programme to come back so I can get started. Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello. Am trying to type this with my two children causing mayhem so it might be disjointed. I got up to 105.6 kgs with my last pregnancy and have managed to shed almost 11 kgs but have decided to do the cohen's programme as I'm completely over being this big and not having enough energy. I've generally weighed about 100 kgs for the last decade. I've been preparing for cohen's for the past week - stopping coffee, alcohol, sugar and bread. I had headaches for about 5 days but am ok now. I really want this to work and know that my commitment is different this time.

It would be great to hear from anyone who has also started on cohen's or who has reached their goal. I read a couple of the posts from September 08 - and wonder how those 'newbies' have gone?

Cheers,
CC

Weclome!

I started October 3, 2008 and am down just over 30lbs... and just starting my next 10 weeks... I spent the last 2 off plan in NewYork City but hoping back on tomorrow!

ITs been great and I am looking forward to starting back and finishing!

This is a great plan and am SO excited at the change in how I look and feel!

You will do great!

Hi CC & a big welcome to the forum. Great decision to do Cohen's & to prepare for it! I, too, weighed over 100kgs for about 15 years & know that I will never, ever, be over-weight again. I lost 36kgs in 28 weeks in 2006 & am on maintenance. Doing Cohen's was one of the best decisions of my life. Again, welcome, cheers, Cate.

Hi cc, good to ee another newbie on here - I'm just over a week in and am feeling pretty good now. I think I'm about 4kg down so that's great. The first few days are a bit hard but once you get over that it's all pretty good. Look forward to getting thinner together.
