Ready to JUMP

I had to post this message because i am ready to JUMP off the wagon. Not fall off...but JUMP off. Today is so much more difficult than yesterday. I'm only on day two and I feel like such a failure for being so weak. This is hard and it sucks...

I'm trying to hang in there but boy is this tough!

Off the ledge

Ok guys...i've come down off the ledge. I had a couple of crackers and a bottle of water. Hopefully that'll keep me sane until lunch which isn't that far away. I also treated my self to a diet pepsi...

I'm back on track....

Niyah 01 will become famous soon enough
Don't jump whatever you do. Once your body accepts that this is how you're going to be eating and deals with it, the worst will be over. Before then, you have to treat yourself like a food addict who's going cold turkey - not a lot of fun. Do whatever it takes to get your mind off it, drink lots, rest lots, and keep your brain busy with something else.

Make sure that whatever you are eating, it is the nicest Cohen-friendly food you can find. That way you won't feel so deprived. I buy the absolutely nicest pieces of fruit I can find, and apart from chicken, usually buy good quality steak. Because I'm the only one eating it, I don't mind paying a bit more because it goes a long way.

Lightbulb

Hey there! Don't give up. You sound like me 3 weeks ago! I started Cohen diet end Feb. Wow and time flies, I'm already into week 4 and I've not deviated one bit. I totally agree with you on the part of it being HARD. I guess nothing ever comes easily when we are learning something new. In this case, a new eating habit. Much as we feel we want to go against it, really, it is those food that had made us put on weight that we don't quite desire to want to let them go. However, knowing that they are really not good - cos they never did help us stay healthy/on goal weight, we just got to learn to do things right - by letting them go till our body is ready to accept them again BUT this time in moderation .

I feel the same at the mo but if circumstances allow u to continue, do it. My sisters father inlaw has just been in a truck accident today and is not expected to live and my fiance and i lost a mate in afghanastan (the 9th aust. soldier to die there ) and life just doesnt seem like its giving me the path i need to take. Iv resolved to eating as healthy as i can but if i dont remain on track for the rest of the wk- so be it. Im not intentionally deviating and not allowing emotional eating to occur (iv normally NOT eaten wen sad) but i am not in mind set to remain 100% here. I just have to allow things to take their course and deal with it as it comes. I want life to be easy and at the mo, its not. Hopefully u can gain sm strength and remain on track to a healthier u!!!!!!
