According to my consultant, morning weigh in is better because that's the time when our system is 'clean' without any input of water/food. Good for you to have lost weight already. With only 8kg to lose, you'll be over in no time!

Hiya Luvbug,
I couldn't resist weighing myself, on Sunday morning. I have lost 3.6kg so far for the first 3 weeks. Woohoo! I'm pretty pleased with the results so far.

How are you doing? 10kg more is not too far off! I hope to lose about 5kgs to reach my goal of 54kg. I hope I can reach this by end of Week 8 :-)

Wow, I can't believe 4 weeks have flown by! I have shed 4 kg so far, which is fine with me :-) I hope to lose another 3-4 this month to reach my goal of 55kg.

I think my programme got derailed a bit because of eating out with clients. Although I try to stick to one protein/veg, the way its cooked may be my undoing!

Will update more later.

Oh no, the day I've been dreading, another client lunch! We are taking them to the Hilton coffeehouse, and I hope to select either a chicken salad or a grilled chicken breast with veg. The hard thing about dieting in this country is that everyone keeps asking you about it and why you're doing it etc, "but you're not fat!" remarks are common. Sigh. It must be an Asian thing.

It feels strange not to have my packed lunch with me. I brought an apple to have after lunch so that it kinda neutralises whatever I eat hehehe.

On another matter, does anybody know whether french beans and ladies fingers are ok to have as part of your veggie allowance? I know someone who does take these 2 vegs, and seems to be doing ok. Just wondering why these are not included in the list of allowed veg.....anyone??

Hiya Luvbug,
Love the party graphics !
I managed to avoid anything "bad" during the client lunch yesterday. Had a grilled tenderloin steak with spinach and asparagus. Yum! But it really filled me up. I must have had more than my allowance (oops!)

I love the support you and Starfish give to each other. I've been reading your posts and I think its great that you guys are so near to each other!

I'm scheduled to do my first weigh in and blook test tomorrow. I hope yesterday's lunch hasn't done too much damage - yikes!

xxx

Hi nuttyprofessor!

I'm glad that you resisted on your lunch! I'm sure that the "extra little" food didn't ruin your diet

Yeah, Starfish and I are diet buddies hehe!
We totally met by accident and we started on the same day with Cohen's! So cool.

How did the weigh-in and blood tests go?

Luv

The blood test went off well, took a little over 5 minutes to get in and outta the gribbles lab! I hope the results are ok.

I weighed myself on Sunday morning, and it is now TOM so I wasn't expecting anything earth-shattering. I weighed in at 57.6kg. I'm pleased! I know the 2nd month, things slow down a little, but I'm hoping to finish the programme within the next 5 weeks.

Hope everybody on the programme has a great week ahead, will post updates when I can

XXX
Sarah

What a busy couple of weeks it has been! Work has been piling up frightfully, the home is in a mess, and there is just so much to do! One thing at a time, and I'll get through this.

I haven't really lost much over the past 2 weeks. In fact, I don't think I've lost at all ... my 4-week weigh in was 58.3kg and I sneaked a weigh-in last Sunday and was still at 57.5kg, same as Week 5. So for the 2nd month, I've lost less than 1kg with 2 more weeks to go.

The blood test came out fine, was told that Dr Cohen is pleased with the results. No changes were made to the program, I'm hoping to get on refeeding by end of May, fingers crossed. I wonder what types of foods they will re-introduce on the refeeding ..... hmmm.

Niyah 01 will become famous soon enough
Hi, nice you're still on track, nutty professor.

Just hang in there - it will happen. The annoying thing is that the losses seem to slow down the closer to goal weight you are. But if you are doing all the right things, it will happen - eventually.

You're life sounds about as crazy as mine! But it can be done, no matter what!

I think I will check back on the chili/garlic. I also use curry/korma powder in my dishes, and I just realised it's limited to 1 teaspoon per meal! Yikes. I think I screwed up the first 2 days of my program :-)
if i may have the address or contact for KL please..really appreciate it. thank you.

Hi Nutty Professor, It is frustrating when the weigh-loss slows down towards the end but is well worth waiting until you get to your goal before starting re-feed. It's much harder to go back on plan once you go off it. Eating out as you had to probably slowed things down a bit but with so little to lose you'll be there in no time. After finishing, doing re-feed & following maintenance guidelines you should never see these lost kilos again. Cheers, Cate

Hi BigColes,

The person to contact in KL is Ms. Lam Ee Von and her mobile number is 012-3310978. Are you thinking of joining the program?
