I reckon you're right - those lunches, even with however much control I exercised - must have made their impact on the program! Since then, I haven't deviated much (only ate out twice and both times had a grilled chicken salad). Today's lunch will be another challenge, but I'm determined to not give in to temptation!
I really am getting a bit impatient i.e. want to start refeeding asap! I've been getting hunger pangs of late, not sure whether it signals anything. But I will stick it out until I reach at least 55kg before starting refeed.
Will keep all updated on progress!

Yes, I too am scared of needles. But I guess the overwhelming desire to shed those kilos makes it less scary
All the best if you decide to join the program !

Decided to weigh myself this morning (didn't check on progress last weekend) and I am now at a solid 57.0kg. To me, this is the psychological barrier, i.e. can I make it below 57kg??? Will try my utmost best to lose 2-3 more before I request for refeeding.
Here's wishing everyone a great week ahead!

My motivation has renewed itself last weekend. I weighed myself on Sunday morning, and it read 56.6kg! I'm so pleased that I'm now under 57kgs! The reason I weighed myself on Sunday morning was because it was Mother's Day and we took our mum out for a slap-up feast! Although I restrained from carbs, I still deviated of course cos there was just so much food to resist!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.... and still managed to keep the weight down :-)

Rep Power: 59 | | | Hi Sarah. It's good to hear that you are happier about your weight & that it has broken that 57kg barrier. I hope you enjoyed your lunch. I know I did! Good for you, steering clear of those dreaded carb's! Cheers for now, Cate |

Rep Power: 4 | | | In the 56s! Hiya Luvbug, Cate & All!
It's weird, one morning I'm 56.6kg, the next I'm 57.2kg again, then back to 56.2kg! I'm really not sure what's going on, is the weight supposed to fluctuate so much? I'm coming to TOM, so not sure whether that has anything to do with it.
My next blood test will be in 1 1/2 weeks. I'm considering ordering my refeeding by then, do you think its a good idea since I'm about 2+kgs from GW now? Decisions !!!
Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. Cate, did you order your refeed program about GW+2?
Have a great day ahead, friends!

I don't have them any more but almost everyone says their weight really fluctuates at the end of the month. So don't worry about it. 56.2 sounding good..... Quote:

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. Cate, did you order your refeed program about GW+2? | Sarah. I did but, unless you are gnawing your knuckles with hunger and/or absolutely happy with your current size/weight I would hold off starting re-feed. Order it maybe & have it handy. It is easier to continue until you get to GW now while you are so motivated. If you start it before the bottom of the GW range you may lose a bit more on it (I lost 1kg) but might always wonder if you should have waited that little bit longer.
You don't want to get so hungry that you would eat anything & throw the whole program out the window so it's a fine line. Let hunger & the mirror be your judge. Order it soon but start later is my advice basically. I hope you have a lovely weekend and as I'm away for the weekend I won't catch up until Mon or Tues. Take care, xo Cate |

Rep Power: 4 | | | Hiya Cate and all,
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was alright until yesterday when I woke up with a bad cold! My son (4) has caught it as well, but I popped an Actifed last night and woke up feeling much better (tho a bit drowsy!) this morning.
I have decided not to weigh myself until this coming Sunday morning because of TOM. My 8 week blood test is coming up on Saturday, so I'd better stick to the program 100% this week! Haven't really deviated much, except yesterday when my husband arrived home from Mecca and brought home such delicious dates! Truly delicious.
Because of TOM, I'm starting to have cravings for chocolates....and there are a ton of them sitting in my fridge (they belong to the kids :-))..... so hard to resist! But I will ignore them and focus on my Coke Light instead for that 'rush'....
Have a great Monday, all, and I hope to read good stuff on your forums over this week!
Hugs,
Sarah |

Rep Power: 59 | | | Sarah- I hope you ignored the noisy chocolates. They are only a temporary fix & just not worth it . Get some vitamin C into you, as much sleep as you can & hopefully, get well soon. Cheers Cate. |

Rep Power: 4 | | | Almost at GW! Hi All,
I'm excited today! Weighed myself this morning and I am now 55.4 kg! Wow, haven't been this light in more than 8 years !!! It's truly amazing, I am so into Cohen's and I've been raving about it to almost everyone I know..... some are skeptical (which I have come to expect) and some are interested to know more! As of now, there are 3 of us here on the programme, and we are all making great progress .
My 8 week blood test is a bit overdue, and I'm heading to Gribbles on saturday morning. I reckon if I can maintain at 55kg by the weekend, I will order my re-feed. The ideal weight range given to me is actually between 55-58kg, so maybe this is a good time to order re-feed. Hunger pangs are also quite loud these days, I wonder if my body is shouting for more food ????
I can't wait to see more results from everyone, will keep on reading your pages for inspiration!
Ta for now,

Re: re-feed. I would ask your consultant if she thinks it's time. It probably is. Well done!
