Rep Power: 7 | | Hey fortnight just a quick note to say hi while I am dropping by to see how your doing!
Fantastic work with your losses so far! I totally agree with you that your body knows what it is doing and looses at it's own rate (which is the best for YOU).
Do you realise that you are now not overweight anymore? Your BMI is at 25 which is healthy so you can kiss goodbye to the old idea that you are overweight!!! How wonderful :-)
All the best for the next 9.1kg's to go! Woo hooo

Rep Power: 13 | | Unfortunately BMI cut off lower for Asians. Our Healthy BMI range is 18 to 22 so I am still in overweight range. The research says that Asian bodies tend to hold fat more than others so our healthy BMI is lower than others. It sucks! |

Rep Power: 64 | | Fornight- It doesn't matter. What you are doing is fantastic. You are well on the way to being healthy & slim. It doesn't matter that goal BMI varies between countries. It doesn't matter that some people seem to be able to eat anything & not put on weight. What matters is you are taking control of your health. That really matters. Keep up the good work & try to focus on the positive. You are now well on the way to your goal weight. Well done & cheers, cate. |

Rep Power: 12 | | Yep, whatever a healthy Asian BMI is, you are already so much closer to it it's fantastic! Whatever has been in the past is now gone and you've proved to yourself that you can do this successfully and see it through! |

Rep Power: 13 | | | 13th Week Weigh In Weekly
Current Weight = 63.0kg
Previous Weight = 63.1kg
Loss for the week = 0.1kg
Total Loss to date = 14.5kg (average 1.12kg/week) Current Fat % = 34.6%
Previous Fat % = 35.3%
The lowest weekly weight loss I have ever had. Only 0.1kg. Must be due to TOM or because my body is integrating. I sure hope the water retention from TOM goes away before my end of calender month weigh-in (31st Aug 09). This month TOM is 2 weeks late and the flow is heavier than usual. It makes me so tired for the last few days.
I did try on a couple of smaller size tops last night and they fit so much better than last week. At least the body fat loss is great which might explain why the clothes fit better. |

Rep Power: 12 | | I'm absolutely sure that because you have been doing so well and eating so well, you are continuing to lose centimeters no matter what those scales say!
It's always a little discouraging when we think we have done really well and then jump on the scales and they don't seem to behave! However, you've already made some massive changes to your body's fat levels and BMI so it's not really surprisingly it will "pause and consider" from time to time as you come into the last section of the diet.
Let's hope over the next week the fluid goes and you get the reassurance next week of a bigger loss. However... as always.... it's only "numbers" and nothing to do with what's REALLY happening in your body! |

I still have not have BM. The loss might be more if I have BM but for the moment, I am satisfied with this week loss. |

Rep Power: 64 | | Fornight, I had to resort to taking a laxative with senna occasionally on Cohen's when I felt uncomfortably constipated. So long as it just occasionally it should not become addictive. I used Coloxyl. I found the Metamucil recommended made me worse if anything. You're getting closer & closer to goal & sound quite positive. Well done on another solid loss(no pun or irony intended). Cheers, cate |

I was actually a little nervous about this week weigh-in because I had not been sleeping well, had been stressed over work/friends and upset over my spinal disc issue. I also think I over-drank caffine drinks for two days because I was so distracted by my emotions that I lost count. I think it was one or two cups more - not entirely sure.
My initial guess is I will only lost 0.1kg this week and stuck at 62kg. I am now so glad to see that I am so near to the 50s!
I have been upset over my health because I seem to be losing skin sensitivity on my left feet. My Chiropractor thinks that my lumbar disc compression might have worsen. this news really dampen my spirit because things have been going so well for the past couple of months.

Rep Power: 12 | | Wow, look at the number on the scales! You are going to be in 50's land in no time.
I think you've definitely got on top of the past demons and well on the way to permanent success this time, Fornight.
Whatever happens with your back, you can be happy that the loss of weight will be helping. Imagine if that poor back was having to lug around an extra 20kg as well! So, although it is sore, you can be happy that you've done everything you can that's in your power to help it out. Once you are over diet, perhaps they can suggest something to strengthen it by way of regular movement? Or maybe not. Whatever happens, helping ourselves is the best thing we can do. |
