Rep Power: 4 | | I`m using Blackmores - Women`s vitalty multi, because it`s affordable, keeps me going, and doesn`t contain any yeast, lactose, gluten or sugar. I can recomend this one.
Don`t give up, keep going, your headache gonna go away tomorrow or after that. I`ve just completed my first week, so I still remember very-very sharp how I felt at the first 3 days...And don`t forget to drink, it helps reduce your ache as well! For me a very cold water (sip by sip) was great those days. |

Rep Power: 64 | | Yukio- I took the Blackmores when I was on Cohen's too but these days I take evidin, Women's multi-vitamin,as recommended to me by one of our local chemists who also happens to be a sports nutritionist. It is quite inexpensive (2 months supply for about $23) It does have 50mg of B6 but I have never had a problem with hunger, taking it. It does not have any Gluten, wheat or nut products, nor GMO ingredients, egg, yeast, salt, artificial flavours or colours, or dairy. He said he had taken the same multi vitamin for about 20 years & always researches new ones that come onto the market & decided that this one was better. It's a lot cheaper than most of them but with a good mix of vitamins & minerals.
Have you cut out coffee and tea cold turkey? If so perhaps wean yourself off caffeine a little slower & the headaches may subside. I have a plunger coffee every morning & herbal for the rest of the day. I would also take some paracetemol to help just for a while, especially before going to bed to help you get a better sleep. Sleep is so important for us all. I know you have a baby but please try to get as much rest as you can. Take care of yourself Yukio and I hope those headaches go back to where they came from! Cheers for now, Cate |

Rep Power: 0 | | Thanks Cate. I will certainly check into those. The headache today has subsided and I feel wired. I will take a nap this afternoon though. After I have lunch and stay up for 2 1/2 hours. Im trying to do really good. I made it through cooking my husband and my daughter a delicious meal. I wanted to eat it but got through it. I found another way to saute my vegg. So that is good I suppose lol.
Right now Im just thinking.... Hurry up first week lol. But after yesterday I think I can do anything.
One thing I did do that was bad was I couldnt stay up the 2 1/2 hours after eating last meal I only lasted 1 1/2 because of the headache. But i will do better today. |

Rep Power: 12 | | Napping is good in the first week!!!!
Definitely have a goal of what you want to be - helps to make it all the more real, and you will get the excitement when you see the dream starting to come true.
If you can get through the first few days, you can get through anything!!!! |

Rep Power: 64 | | | Hi Yukio, I always tried to save a piece of fruit & one lot of crackers to have an hour or two after my dinner & often ate them in alternate mouthfuls (sounds weird I know). It makes you feel better knowing you have something left for the evening. It sounds like you are over the worst of it now. What did you have for dinner btw? Some things make me hungry almost straight away. Seafood is one. I'm just curious really. Cheers, Cate |

Rep Power: 0 | | I ate prawns for dinner last night and the night before but only felt hungry yesterday. I thought that you had to eat the last of your food before 9pm or am I just not getting it right. Today was kinda dumb of me/ I made half a tomato with a bit of mozzarella for lunch. But I also made one for my daughter. Well after I finished mine I ate the cheese off hers because she didnt want it. So now I feel like an idiot.
I dont think my husband quite gets that I really really want to lose the weight so he just told me its ok. its not going to hurt you. So maybe I should be logging in here more often as my husband is just not getting it. |

Rep Power: 12 | | Your husband no doubt loves you and wants you to feel good. So accept his good will, but you dont' have to listen to that bit!!!! Husbands always feel under pressure to "get it right" with the comments, so the pressure is to make you feel better, no matter what. Besides, they are from Mars and always have to "solve problems".
You feel bad. But it's not the end of the world - just get up and keep to the plan tomorrow. It won't make a massive difference if it's a once-off. The only thing that breaks is your peace of mind, not the diet, so don't worry too much - just decide you won't do that again and that's that!
We all have teething problems - and one of my biggest was also feeling like I was "wasting food" if it was not eaten. I could throw out a few vegies, but throwing out something "good" felt terrible. I've now learnt that the food I valued as "good" was really "not good" and the stuff I DIDN'T feel bad about throwing out is really the "good stuff". It's all a brain training game.
Luckily we have chooks and dogs, so between the two, I never truly feel too bad about "wasted food". |

Rep Power: 0 | | Yeah the hubs loves me and is just trying to help HOWEVER.... his helping is bad lol.
But yeah I felt really bad about eating just that little weency bit of cheese. But Ive decided im not going to kill myself over it lol. Im just going to move on. I thought I was strong willed apparently not to much. But i think this week should be easier to get through.
I now know I have fallen for the tomato and mozzarella so I will probably eat that everyday for awhile so I can get it out of my system. But i do know I cannot make more then what I make for myself. So hopefully I will get back on track ...
WEEE... hopefully losing weight.
Thanks for the support I really need it in times like this. Where I feel like a dummy >.< |
