Rep Power: 5 | | | Back on track! Hi people.
It's been a few months since I've been here and thought that it was so motivating and awesome for me last time, it is definitely going to help out this time too!
I was on cohen's December last year through to Feb, adn I lost over 20kg, which was AWESOME! I've now, since then, put on only 4, which is ok. could be worse! But I never did reach my goal weight, and I really wanna kick back into action.
I've been building up to this for a while now... It has always been this particular Monday that I was oging to start again. My family always has a huge family feast on Father's day, and we spend weeks preparing the menu, etc. So I was always going to start as of the day after. So, here I am, in bed, the night before the big start day! I'm excited! Weird, I know.
I have measured out everything ready for tomorrow and am ready and raring to hit it! Bring it on, baby yeah! ha.
Hope to get in touch with a few of my old mates from back six months ago... they were great in helping me stick with it. Looking forward to talking with you all soon! |

Rep Power: 59 | | Hi Joh, I was thinking about you 2 days ago & wondering how you were!! Only 4kgs regained. That's pretty good, considering you didn't do re-feed etc. That 4kg will be gone quickly. Once you have done Cohen's once your body seems to remember it & you lose really fast. It sounds funny I know but it's really nice to have you back. We have some lovely newbies & you will have good company, xoxo Cate

Rep Power: 5 | | Hello you gorgeous ladies! Thanks for the support already!
Yeah, I'm hoping those four kilos will be gone in no time And I've been working pretty hard to keep on track, so it has been ok. But... I'm getting married in december and then planning to embark on a massive cycling adventure for a few months, so would love to be light and healthy!
L-JAY: Hey! Thanks for saying hi - I look frward to reading about your journey too! Looks like you are going so well already - well done!
CATE: HIII!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping in! It's great to hear from you. Del is fantastic - she looks incredible and is doing really well with her weight. She just said that she had always planned to ban chocolate, but that idea has gone down the toilet. ha. It's near the end of term and we are all stressed to the max, so it's hard, but she is looking fantastic!
My Day So Far:
Breakfast: zucchini omelette (so yum! I forgot how nice it was!)
Snack: 1 vitaweat
Lunch: zucchini and mushroom cooked with mozzarella. Again - so yum!
Now I'm a bit hungry, but I'm not minding that feeling at the moment. I remember from last time how hard it was during the first week, and how lethargic and headachey I was, so I'm expecting it. I've got a fair bit of detoxing to do, I reckon.

Rep Power: 5 | | And I just changed my ticker for the first time since I first started here... symbolic of a new start, I reckon. Makes me feel like I started another journey again, and not that I am just starting from where I left off... Anything to give me more motivation! |

while i'm sitting here eating my cabbage omelette, i'm pretty happy. woke up feeling those hip bones that have been dorment for a while... after only one day! I drank so much water yesterday and woke up with a pretty gross headache today, but i reckon that is all the gross stuff working its way out of my body. i got pretty hungry at the end of yesterday, but had a piece of chewy and it was all good.
so day two, and according to wii fit, i'm 1.7kg lighter. insano! talk about a kick start! I've got my chicken on the stove doing its thing in preparation for lunch - this is such a contrast to my usual morning routine. usually i get up, get changed, brush my teeth and straight out the door to the cafe down the road from work. on the way there at the traffic lights I do my make-up and my hair... nothing fancy! ha. Then at the cafe, i get a soy latte and either a ham-cheese-tomato wholemeal toasted sandwich, or a raspberry and white chocolate muffin. I plan my day, do some marking, get organised. then by the time it arrives, i wolf it down, usually get the last half of my coffee put into a take-away cup, and then it's on to work.
In the same amount of time, i can make a cooked breakfast, make a cooked lunch, sit down and write this, and just hang out and have a breather for a while. it's nice. |

Rep Power: 5 | | Had a total meltdown in front of my lovely hubby-to-be this arvo. Know why? My friend had a baby five days ago. I went round to visit with a huge pot of gorgeous tulips, and it was so nice to see her and her little bubba.
Her: Coffee?
Me: sure! Thanks.
Her: (kettle on. then... milk put in a cup and frothed up... then new espresso machine turned on and SHAZAM. Meanwhile she made herself a black tea.)
umm... so I just had it. and now i'm riddled with self-loathing and guilt. And i didn't even enjoy it, but felt obligated. Then my poor man had to deal with ym melt-down, which was just so silly. but he knows all my issues and was so great. i picked a goodun!
But then one of his mates popped round to drop off some bottles for beer brewing this weekend, and he said, literally, 'Hi Joh. Man, that jacket is awful. Really. It's terrible.' Umm... thanks? Welcome to my house? Come in?
ugh.
tough day today for stupid reasons. I hate being an irrational, sensitive female. |

Rep Power: 12 | | | Put it to bed tonight and then don't worry about it tomorrow. We all make dumb decisions on the spur of the moment, especially when trying to get back on track. It's just one of those occasions when you think "NEXT time I'll say...." and pull out a better thing to answer. It's only fatal if you decide it was. If you get up tomorrow and decide it's not going to derail you or stop you getting on track, it won't.
Have a good day tomorrow! |

Rep Power: 21 | | Niyah's right , not a thing you can do about it, but now you know next time, and it's a great reminder for me too, to say yes I'd love a coffee, black thanks no sugar.
Just focus on those hip bones you found baby awesome stuff. I know mine are there somewhere.
Sometimes stuff like that happens, and we can't preempt everything, but we know for future times. It's completely unintentional. If you ever forget to say black, no sugar, and you have someone who wants to show off their barista skills, ( or jsut their expresso machine) you can smile sweetly and say "I appreciate the effort you went to, but like you, I can't tolerate milk lately, I'm finding it doesn't agree with me, would you mind? " Or you can pretend to sip at it, and try to sneakily tip it into a plant pot or down the sink while she isn't looking, or just not drink it and say "Oh sorry, a violent headache is coming, I really have to go" Okay, that last one is an outright lie,(I don't really advocate lying), but drinking it and laying awake feeling bad will surely bring on a headache?????
Well, lovely lady, you have an awesome day today, and we look forward to the update!! |

Joh!! You are such a thoughtful person. That's why she is friends with you. Quote:

You are not irrational. That is just downright rude & insensitive.
Forget it all sweets. Coffee=another lesson.
Rude comments reflect more on those that make them. Hellooo hip bones!!!!
It's nice having you back Joh even if you may think it's for the wrong reasons, xoxoxo Cate |

Rep Power: 5 | | Hello all you gorgeous people. It's so lovely that there are actually people out there that read my random thoughts! You all make me feel so important! hehe.
NIYAH - you are right - this is something I will learn from. and Yes, today is a much better day! Yay! Thanks for checking in on me
L-JAY - love all your strategies! That's awesome! And I don't really have a problem with lying occasional to benefit my mental and physical health but don't tell. Thanks for all those awesome ideas. You tha bomb!
CATE - you are the sweetest. Thanks for saying that about me being a good friend. Also, yes, you are totally right about that idiot. It isn't a reflection on me, you're right. and YEEEEAH Hip bones WOOT!
TODAY:
Good day so far! My stars said that i was going to finally get my head above water and all this emotional turmoil would start to shrink away. yay! hehe. We all read our stars at recess.
Not hungry... and not too tired... and drinking lots... and pretty positive! I remember this time last time it was agony - so hungry all the time, etc. So it looks like it's pretty good! And 3kg in 2 days is simply ridiculous I think about all the effort I put in to lose 2kg before, and I feel so silly fo trying other things.
Talk soon! |

Rep Power: 5 | | I have, but i did it differently yesterday. maybe that's why. I forgot my water bottle at work, so instead of sipping throughout the day, i'd have to wait til recess or lunch or after work and then guzzle. probably not the best... I also drank three cups of coffee, which is a lot for me...
