Hello Chanty, I also couldn't find the Nabisco brand of premium biscuits when I started, only arnotts, so I wonder if the companies have amalgamated or something. Anyway, I love my saladas like Cate but if in doubt ask your clinic.
Have a nice day,
Trudy

Yippee!!! I am over halfway to my goal, thank goodness.
The last 4 weeks have been filled with deviations and hours on Cohens and days off Cohens. I hope that I am back on track and aiming to lose another six kg in the next 5 weeks. I know that I shouldn't set goals in case I don't reach them, but I am hoping it will help me focus.
From now on the amount I have to lose is less than the amount I have lost, psychologically uplifting.
Take care,
Trudy

Awesome Trudy!!
Congratulations on being more than half way to goal. You will make it the rest of the way in no time at all. Being on the downhill run is very motivating and soon your required weight loss will be single digits. Very exciting!!
Take care

Thank you for your support Beck, wont be much longer and you will also be halfway. It just makes me feel so much more positive, like I might actually do this.
I have read your diary entry and I can relate to the cheese. I made "nachos" the other day for the first time on Cohens and it was superb!!! I hadn't used my cheese allowance before and even while I was eating it I was thinking it was too good and it would make me put on weight (it didn't). So now my range of food variety has increased because I am not too scared to use the cheese option!!
Look forward to seeing your ticker move to the halfway mark in the next week or two.
Cheers for now,
Trudy

Hi Everyone, I completed my Cohen's program in October 2007. It's the first time I'm back at this forum and it's great to read about so many newcomers on the program.
I'd just like to offer some support and encouragement. For those who have stuck closely to the program - great job and the end will be here sooner than you know. For those who've been deviating, come back on. Your favourite treats will always be there waiting for you to have in moderation once your goals are achieved.
Keep it up!

Hi windyblue,
Welcome to the forum. Its nice to have you here. How has your maintenance gone? Have you stayed at your goal weight? Have you had any problems maintaining it?
Sorry all questions. I look forward to chatting.
Take care

Firstly, what a super super job to lose 21 kg in just over 2 months. Congratulations!
I'm happy to share my post-Cohen experience. I finished the program at my goal weight but truly, honestly didn't like how I look. I put back a little weight and it's been very easy to keep it at my preferred weight. What worked for me was keeping the Management Guidelines that came with refeed in mind, not breaking the good eating habits built through the Cohen program, and not binging.
The outcome of the program for me is really the disciplined built, good eating habits and change in taste for food. I'm still cooking my own dinner and bringing lunches whenever I can because I prefer healthier food that are not available readily. I know what will cause me to put on weight and I avoid those food.
And of course, it's normal to gain weight during festive periods but I don't allow myself to indulge in prolonged binges. I go back to Cohen-style eating for a week or so and the weight comes off easily.
Maintaining is not easy nor is it hard - it's a personal choice and I choose to be slim and healthy. Just like what you are doing now.

Hi Windy Blue, It's nice to have someone else come back into the forum after completing Cohen's. I think I made a similar decision to you, albeit subconsciously, to go up a few kilos from the Cohen's goal weight range. I was happy with the weight I thought I was but then found out about 6 months afterwards that my scales were faulty(6kgs more than I thought I was). I never wanted to be thin and am happy being slim & healthy looking. Recently I dropped down quite a few kgs but did not like how I looked so have decided that 5kgs over what Cohen's said is my goal weight is what I am happy being. People are always asking me if I'm still dieting & saying "don't lose any more weight will you".
It's wonderful that we now have the ability to drop a few kilos easily & like you, I now much prefer eating the Cohen's way because, after all it's the logical, healthy way. Cheers, Cate.
PS. It's almost 12 months since I completed Cohens. I'll make sure I'm within the 3kg range before the 12th!
