I don't blend/process it, but if there is a lot of syrup stuff left (derived from simmering the apple in the sprite), I usually mix this in with my yoghurt as it only adds to the flavour of the sundae. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hey everyone, just a ticker update
everything has been ok, still seeing the councellor which is promising (usually I give up by now) I'm still very very tired alot and I really feel its time to see the doctor because there is only so much my consultants can do. Hope you are all doing well. |

Rep Power: 0 | | newlife: Hope you are feeling much better today. Ready to Lose: Congrats on reaching the final lap, hope you will keep us updated when u get your refeed. Bright Yellow: I love Mango with Yougurt and what I do is usually blend the mango and just fold them into the yougurt rather than blending them together. I think the taste really depend on the type of mango you are getting coz the mango taste varies. I really love Australia Mango(they are the best, the sweetest and really taste great with yougurt). If you really can't get used to the taste, put some sweetener or some diet soda. It will make it much sweeter.
Had my second black-out this morning. Went to the doctor and apparently my blood sugar level is normal and he say might be some gastric virus(which is kind of funny coz my stomach/gastric feel perfectly normal). Had try calling my consultant but nobody is picking up the phone at their office and their 2nd reply to my email states that maybe I am drinking too much water(funny coz previously they ask me to drink more water). Where are all the help from the consultant when you really need them? Really a little disappointed in what they are doing. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I fit into a size 14!! (Tops and skirts at least!)
I skipped size 16 altogether and went from an 18 to a 14. I'm very excited. In fact, I'm heading back to the shop to get another top while they are on sale!
I've been buying some skirts on ebay, and now need tops to wear with them.
I haven't been losing much weight though, which is frustrating. This week is like the week from hell for a diet! I have 4 business lunches on altogether, and 3 parties on Saturday!! I'm driving from one side of the city and back again (2 hours each way) to get to and from the parties. So, not quite sure what my strategy is going to be yet.... but its going to be a challenge. The business lunches are fine - I've managed them well so far. But 3 parties in one day is a bit much! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I choose life, you are on the Mark.
We always focus on the food but at the end of the day we are robbing our selves of life.
Being thin does not make life perfect. When you do not have weight as an issue any more or have weight to blame for things in life that are not as we would like them to be. It is easier to sit on the side and watch everybody else live life while we sit in our prison. We create little PITTY parties for our self.
We must all ask our selves what has our fat prison stopped us from doing. The days will pass nomatter what size we are, lets make those days count, becuase the day will never come again.
For those that don't know me, I finished the program at 68kg.

Rep Power: 0 | | I CHOOSE LIFE - Ty for the post about Mary. How true those words are. That was me to a T, until Cohens. But, I must admit, those negative thoughts Mary has, have flittered across my mind from time to time. Needless to say, if they do show their ugly face again, I will think of Mary, and realise, Im NOT Mary, and I DONT want to be her, ever again.
Cheers to you and hope your day is lighter. |

Rep Power: 0 | | BRIGHT YELLOW - I lived in Melton for 15yrs. Moved over the other side of town when my exhusband and I seperated 5yrs ago. Do have some fond memories whilst living there. How long have you been in Melton for? I must say you do have a very SUNNY and HAPPY disposition. Its quite evident you are a positive soul. Nice to have you on board and I wish you nothing but smooth sailing whilst on the program and quick success.
Cheers |

Thank you so much for typing out the article! I really do appreciate your effort and I'm sure many others did. I'll be printing it out and constantly reminding myself that I'm not depriving myself of anything but bringing up my health to a better level.
I'm feeling much better today except that my mum had to "spoil" it by asking me what was wrong with me as she noticed that I was grumpier than usual. When I told her that I was frustrated at myself for deviating, for being tired of using my mind to say no, etc, she was not very convinced that I was troubled over my weight loss. Instead, she was more convinced that I had other problems hogging me. And so I told her that I'm only bogged down by my weight loss and she told me that she doesn't see any big deal about it. But I told her that it is a big deal cos my patience is running out after being on the program for more than 1 year. I shared with her that I needed her to understand my position that it is not easy for me to go through this especially when the rest of my family is happily and freely eating anywhere, anytime.Well.. I just hope it would get easier day by day.
Past 2 days have been good cos I did not go out at all. So it was much easier for me to battle out the mind games. I have a wedding lunch to attend to on a Sat and on Monday evening, I have to meet my friend who's back from Australia for dinner. I will see how I will battle that out. In the meantime, I'm loading myself with lots of water, teas and work to put my mind off any distractions.
But I'm happy that I'm starting to try all over again. I just do not want to give up yet.
Thank you I choose Life, Momiji, Therese and all for your concern. Hugs! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
