Rep Power: 0 | | Good morning very one,
I have good news I have my cast off, thrown away my crutches and i'm ready of action - but yes i will do it carefully. I didn't make my goal as yet but we have two weeks to go before Christmas is upon us. I love this season but still can't get use to the warm weather, I like snow at Christmas as it makes everything magical (or maybe that my imagination!!). Well i have lost another 4kgs for this month which i think is really good since my still not walking around too much.
Melly P - well done on getting near to your goal for Christmas keep up the good work.
Lonniecee - Sorry about the other day, the job application was a biggy and i struggled with it but i did finish it so i will need to wait and see. I have an interview at another school on Thursday for grade 5/6 position so i will keep you posted. Please ppray for me as i really need to work full time as money is getting really tight.
Good to see everyone doing so well keep it up especially over the festive season. Welocome to all the newbies and to everyone Merry Christmas.
Cheers to all

Another newbie here - I am starting my plan tomorrow, and really quite excited about it (does that make me weird?).
I am yet another 39 year old about to embark on those scary 40s+ years and want to be fabulous, fit and yes if I have to be, forty! So it is up to me.
A few pages back everyone was talking about living in Melbourne and attending the Geelong clinic. I was in the clinic yesterday and I met new starters from Warrnambool and Horsham. The clinic seemed to be very flexible and were willing to support these long distance dieters by phone and email. So dont hesitate Melbourne people! And the clinic is only a ten minute walk from Geelong train station (and a five minute walk from my house - what a bonus!).
So here's cheers everyone (picture me holding up a LARGE glass of water). Merry Christmas - be strong!

Ive been on the quiet side over the past 2 weeks. Just been reading everyones posts as I havent really had too much to contribute. Im feeling great and the weight seems to be coming off at a nice pace. Quicker would be wonderful, but hey, its quicker than any other diet I know of, so that is a great plus. My sons 18th this coming w/e so being strategic on what foods Im going to be serving up to make it as easy upon myself as possible. Any suggestions or ideas would be a great bonus. CATH - Welcome to you and I wish you a wonderful journey that finds you losing weight and cms very quickly and successfully. I know you will achieve as well as all of us on here. Happy days of being lighter to you. JEWLS - Awesome news about your cast. You must feel such relief and so much lighter without it. Take it easy for a while before you start jumping fences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your success in getting the job you are applying for.
Hope this finds everyone well and lighter.
Cheers |

Rep Power: 0 | | Short Update Well it good to see progress for the long term and short term members. The Cohen diet works and even the slowest of losses 1KG/week creates visable difference in a matter of months. Many/Most seem to lose around the 1.5~2KG/week. So even "long term" members are not long term, it is very different to building up a investment property portfolio which takes years and years.
Well yesterday I was 91KG so I have reached a goal for me and am very happy. . On the flip side I am off for a "well earned" 2 week holiday to Paris, Brussels, London it was my desire to visit Europe the family wanted Hawaii or Singapore, so it wouldnt be appropriate to be a "food nazi" with my family during the trip. Just after I get back its new-years a time of feasting, family and sleeping in Japan, so my new goal is to be 91KG on the 3rd Jan 2007, I just want to get through Christmas and the new years without gaining and get down to my goal of 80KG (or low 80's) early next year.
So my plan for the trip and new years is the Cohen Yogurt and fruit breakfast, and for lunch and diner I will choose something lower "carb" starchy option where possible.
Good luck and if I dont post for a couple of weeks you know I am having fun I am diffinately feeling more lively these days, 32KG less to carry around 24*7 is great !

Rep Power: 0 | | | lucky duck! LF: have a fabulous time! I know you've posted before asking for tips while on holiday.
My tip. Have fun, be good when you can, but don't worry too much about the weight, as you'll be walking so much it will balance itself out. (Did for me when I went away for an extended overseas holiday)!
Merry Christmas and have a fab New Years where ever you will be! Goal: Day 1 Monday (started 2nd time around 6 Nov 06) Goal: No deviations for 1 week (done) Goal: Weigh myself December 6! (done!) 8kg lost! Goal: Drop 10kg stat. Goal: Be under 100kg by Christmas! Goal: No deviations until Xmas Day! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Newlife stay strong, you are doing so well. Just think of us when facing down those temptations, we're right behind you all the way. Jewls no problem about the other night, I hope that all turns out as you want. Glad to hear the cast is off. Kick up those heels, gently now . Lf safe trip and hope you all have a wonderful time. Cath welcome, no we don't think you're weird, we're all excited by the plan and the results it brings. Lucky you living so close. Handy to everything. (I grew up in Geelong so familiar with the area ).
Go Melly. You can do it.
Okay so who has started feeling more girly and feminine with the weight loss? Sorry LF, just noticing I'm caring about myself more, spent $$$ on make up the other day and taking longer to get ready to go out. I'm sitting straighter and taking more pride in my apperance. I think hubby is appreciating it too .
Stay well all and here's to another promising week |

Rep Power: 0 | | The Birthday Cheers Hello
How hectic is the season? Wow, i just got on today and saw a wopping 12 pages since i had last been in! I wish i had the time to read them all. Maybe later on when everyone stops expecting me to achieve miracles before we are on holidays!
My Birthday was fun.... but very hard. I had two cakes.... and my family chasing me around trying to get me to eat it. I didn't cave in, but Gosh, i wanted to. The result? my ticker tells the story.....
How are you all? Doing Christmas shopping? Wow.... never noticed how much chocolates and biscuits are available in the holidays..... it has been really tough to walk on by... when they all have 20% discounts!
I hope you are all well. I am once again having problems with the clinic. Have been calling them to do my weigh in which should have ocurred on 6.12.06 now and yep.... no response! what am i gonna do with the lot then?
How are you all goin... Briezel? Wildsky? How is your weight loss? I tell you, i have incorporated some mild excercise and wow, the weight fell off overnight! it is amazing.... The difference is not that noticable yet, but i think the next 10kgs will start to shock all the cows that would rather tell you you have gained weight than lost it!
i have 27 kegs to go! i think i might be able to get there at March... i was hoping to finish in Feb, but i think Late March, early April should get me home... and i can not wait! Not to start eating again.... but to be able to have at least a glass of wine! i miss my wine!
Anyway, gotta run....
Hope you are all having a great wind up to Christmas and hope you are all achieving amazing things. |

Today was my first monthly weight in. I have lost 8kg, I am stoked that I have lost that much weight but would have loved to have hit the 10kg mark in my first month.
I am struggling with a lack of enthusiasm to eat at the moment, as there is a lack of variety.
Has anyone got any tips to get me motivated to cook something different and nice. |

I'm very jealous, although likely to be there for a week or so myself in February - but working unfortunately.
