Rep Power: 0 | | Good job Mermaid Sister - I too have maintained my weight. I guess if we can get through the silly season without too much damage then it is really not that bad. I am just really angry with myself. But I guess I need to move and try and enjoy the holidays. Size 12 top that is my dream, currently a 16 due to my breast size. But it will come. I know it will. |

I know what you mean, I was angry with myself too, thinking that I could have lost an additional 6-8kg this last month, but nothing I can do about it now, so I am just gonna have somne fun, because I haven't allowed myself too since I was smaller, when I was tripe digits I didn't go out ever! now I've been going to the cricket, going out with new people and already feel more confident. I guess the key is to focus on what we have done, not what we could've (words of advice from my personal yoda Chelsea there) and I know exactly what ur talking about with boobs! mine haven't seemed to have shrunk, actually totally surprised about finding a size 12 in a top especially a Roxy top- but I am not going to complain. Keep on it Jools you will get there and will have a fabulous xmas too, I am so looking forward to having my birthday in Febuary being smaller! in actual fact I can't wait to be able to be 100% cohens again, I feel that determination creeping back in... hooray!
P.S Pinksultana- geez girl ur a hottie! well done you look amazing!

had my one month weigh in today and i was pleasantly surprised to see that i had lost 10 kilo! so reeeaaalllyyy happy about that..its given me an extra boost of motivation to continue with cohens through the silly season and try my best not to deviate
also considering i dont weigh myself at home i found it gave me a huge feeling of accomplishment, and im not going to weigh myself for another 4 weeks (until my 8 week weigh in) so then i can really see some amazing numbers!
yay!
it was just so surreal standing on the scale and seeing 89.7 show up..i remember the last time i weighed around then so im really looking forward to seeing 70's(cant remember weighing 70-something ever) and then the icing on the ever so tasty cake...the SIXTIES!
I am going to have my nails refilled and painted a very christmassy RED on the weekend to join in on the festivities and continue to shrink (ive already reminded everyone to give me myer gift cards for chrissy as i will need a new wardrobe soon!)
ALSO if i could chuck in a question while im here...
ive noticed that many on this forum tend to get big numbers (7-12 kilo) within their first four weeks of cohens..then it goes down to around 4 kilo loss the next month...i spoke to my consultant about my weightloss for the next month and she said 'As long as you follow the plan 100 percent and drink LOADS of water im sure you will lose another 8-10 kg'
what do you guys think ???
So if i dont post before the New Year i just want to wish everyone a VERY merry chrissy and a Fantabulous SMALLER new year!!

The first month loss is alot of glycogen from the muscles and fluid so you may not have as bigger number as the first month. Having said that I lost 6kg I think in the secound month, but didn't drink my full 3 litres a day. It is so important to drink all ur water it really truely helps the weightloss, I found that when I upped my water I started losing quicker. Also the smaller you get, the slower the weightloss so because now you are at 89 (by the way CONGRATS!) it may slow down a wee bit, however everyones different. So drink your water and be a good girl and you will surely reap the rewards. Keep in mind also that numbers do not mean as much as cms so if you do have a slow month focus on ur measurements because thats where the acomplishments really are
have a great xmas!

xx | Hi FatCat,
well done on a great loss!
I do eat out a lot, but I still find my weight goes in cycles and does not come off at an even rate. There is usually one, or maybe 2 weeks in a month where I have a 2kg loss, then I have smaller losses the other weeks. I also find I tend to have one high weight loss month followed by one low weight loss month. But in the low weight loss month, I shrink more in centimetres.
So, for me, I try not to allow my weightloss, either slow or fast, to affect me too much. I know if I stick to the plan at least most of the time, that the weight will come off. It may come off a bit slower at times, but it will make up for it at other times.

Well done FatCAt - nice loss!!!
I'm on day 5 (and I was naughty and jumped on the scales) and can't believe it! I'm not telling you how much, but I was very impressed.
It's no wonder I felt so wretched on days 2 & 3. Feeling much better now. I've been very good, I accidentally deviated on day 2 and had an extra piece of fruit. I forgot about the mango I had already eaten with that disgusting tasting yoghurt! It doesn't seem to have hurt, but I'll be careful not to do it again.
Keep going everyone, you are wonderful motivation to everyone who's interested in this eating plan.
All the best

Rep Power: 19 | | started cohens Hi all just letting you know I started cohen's this week and so far so good I was planning to start in the new year but in the end i opted to start early, reading the stories here has really spurred me on
Bad headaches the first day and night I'm ok now but cravings are strong in the late afternoon, I am also waking up with hunger pains during the night.
Lots of tips in this forum so will go back and read. Weighed in today I have lost more then expected so all is good, will let you know in 4 weeks the total.
Hoping to lose 20kg which my consultant say's is acheivable by march.
hard to imagine .
Take care

Rep Power: 0 | | Had my weigh in this morning - which was fine. I'm averaging between 1kg and 1 1/2 kg a week - which I'm happy with, cause I eat out a lot.
I had another good cm loss - 15cm in 3 weeks.
and today I hit the 100cm lost mark!!! I can't believe I've lost a metre off my body! Yippee!
So, I went and bought some new clothes to celebrate. I am now comfortably fitting into SOME size 14 pants (depends on the style and cut - I tried on one pair which looked hideous!)

32.5 kilos, excellent progress. I'll bet the size 14 pants feel good - and look great!
I tried on a whole new uniform outfit on Friday - my franchise group has a new uniform range and are paying for the first $400 of uniforms for the Principals.
Well, how could I resist!?!
These uniforms are Classy with a capital 'C'!
Fitted 'shell' top - with a zipper down the back! When was the last time you saw a fully tailored and lined top with a back opening zipper!! Talk about Breakfast at Tiffany's - I shall have to get one of those little gadgets which Grandma had, for reaching over my shoulder and pulling up the zipper.
But let me tell you, in my high heels, wearing a tailored style size 10 navy blue pant and size 10 navy blue shell top, I was just transfixed with my image. Simple, sophisticated, stylish, I don't think I have ever had such clothes! I also looked taller, and very professional.
All the clothes except one blouse fitted me - a pity, a nice chambry blouse but designed for someone with boobs and a bum, neither of which I now have.
The very helpful fitting person could see that I have lost a lot of weight. The very fine crinkles under the skin tell the story. Still, at 56, I now look rather good - and the best I have in years - even if I say so myself.
So now that you are past the half way mark, I wish you many happy surprises with your new wardrobe. I look with amazement at myself and I am sure that you do, too!
Best wishes

Rep Power: 0 | | | Whose brilliant idea was it to shorten the signatures?
I tried to save it and it comes back with these errors: 1. Your signature can not be longer than 100 characters excluding BB Code markup.
2. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s).
I got rid of everything and only kept the actual ticker and it still wouldn't save the new ticker info!!! What is going on - My ticker inspires me everyday and now I can't use one - or the old one keeps coming up>> very frustrating |

Rep Power: 0 | | merry melting to all! MellyP. I had that problem too. So all I do now is put my ticker at the end of my post instead of my signature. (I've saved the code to my desktop in a text doc).
Great work by the way! My weight has slowed down a bit too after 6 weeks... so I'm hoping for some big numbers over the next few weeks. Keep it up and you'll be there before you know it.
To everyone else - keep up the amazing work. Sorry haven't posted for a bit. This silly season is a bit hectic - with work and trying to squeeze shopping in. But it's a good distraction - as I haven't deviated in weeks!
Merry melting all! Goal: Day 1 Monday (started 2nd time around 6 Nov 06) Goal: No deviations for 1 week (done) Goal: Weigh myself December 6! (done!) 8kg lost! Goal: Drop 10kg stat (done Dec 12) Goal: Be under 100kg by Christmas! (Lets make that a realistic 105kg) Goal: No deviations until Xmas Day! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
