Lessfatty: congratulations on your fantastic achievement. Well done!!!
Have just got home from a new year's eve barbque. Had some things that definitely are not on Cohen eating plan....I know it sounds like a broken record but now I will fully commit to shifting this weight. 2007 here I come

Hello
This is my first message - I've just registered.
I started Cohen's on 29/11/06 and have lost 67 cms to date. By my 3-week weigh-in on 19/12/06, I had lost 4.22 kg. I go for my post-Christmas weigh-in tomorrow (02/01/07) - hopefully, more weight lost!
Apart from the many functions, I think the most difficult thing over Christmas has been the break in routine - I have to set my alarm to make sure I get up and eat breakfast earlier enough so that I can accommodate the required 5 hours between meals.
I'm feeling a lot less tired and am already enjoying buying smaller clothes!
I'll keep you posted.

Thank you Lonniecee - I'm so glad I discovered this forum - I had read the testimonials on the Cohen's website about 100 times and they don't update them very often ... so this forum is fantastic!

It has helped me so much just reading what others are experiencing. As many of us don't get into the clinics for various reasons, it is so nice to know that other people are there that can relate to you and where you are at. To see peoples tickers move along and the photos that are posted, really show me that this works, as if I needed convincing .

So very true ...
You are doing amazingly well and already over half way there ... that must be a very good feeling!
I can never recall being below 59 kgs, so my goal range of 48-51 kg seems almost unobtainable. As I'm only 152 cms tall, I joke to my husband and friends that when I get (notice the use of 'when' and not 'if'!) to my goal weight, they will be able to hang me on a key chain! LOL

welcome and lol that keychain comment was funny. hehe
You are doing an excelent job so far, keep up the excellent work. I agree with the cohens site, but how good are those testimonials, the first one of the guy is what made me join cohens i wish there was some way of telling him and thanking him cause he has changed my life.
Welcome again.
Dianne

Well i'm glad to see people are back in the swing after the festivities of christmas. Well done Cath on been deviation free over the food fest. I too remained deviation free and i am proud to say I now fit into size 14 (non stretch) jeans and small Katies t-shirts. The ankle is doing well, still swells a little if i over do it but its all good. Christmas was great just busy, caught up with a lot of people who haven't seen me in a while and they were gob-smacked, so i think things are going well and i'm on the down hill path of my program.
Less fatty - big congrats to you what an achievement and you are almost there well done
Good luck everyone and keep looking forward to you goal
cheers Jewls

Hello
I was told by my consultant that the body can only process one protein at a time and it takes about 5 hours to do so - hence one of the reasons for the 5 hour break between meals ... hope that helps ... :0)
