Rep Power: 0 | | Cohen's Clothes Exchange It occurred to me yesterday, whilst going through the clothes in my drawers, that on the Cohen Plan, we really go through the sizes so darned fast it's not funny. It's hardly worth buying much while we're passing sizes by.
But then, it also occurred to me that the point at which each of us starts, well, maybe except me coz I was just massive, is probably going to be someone else's part-way point. If that makes sense.
Therefore I was wondering whether you fellow cohenites might be interested in a clothing exchange of sorts.
I started as a little over a size 26, and am now in an 18. I know I only need one pair of jeans in size 18, and have bought these, but, I know I'll need another pair by the time I get to about size 14, before I reach my goal.
However, it leaves me with a sh!tload of size 26 clothes, and I was wondering if a few of them could be of use to anyone?
Otherwise there'll be a glut of large sized clothes on e-bay soon
I have Denim Shorts, Denim Slacks (both stretchy tights-type, and jeans) and so many formal clothes it's not funny.
What do you all think? Is it worth it? Is it silly?
I thought we could list what we had OR what we needed, and if we could help each other, might make our Cohening more pleasant.
Postage can be decided between the parties, or could be listed in each post. If someone wants something for their clothes also list that.
My thought was, for example:
Pair of size 16 Jeans. Moderate wear. Stretch Denim, Dark blue high waisted jeans. Going free, but I'd appreciate $xx for postage.
(this is an example, if I HAD a pair of size 16 jeans I'd be keeping them!!!)

while I'm not in need of any clothes (I have sizes ranging from 18-8 from years of fluctuating etc.), I am happy to give you some 16 jeans when you need them, almost brand new, worn about 2 times, they are stretch and quite flattering, I also have some size 18 nice 3/4 shorts, really nice fabric in brown checkered pattern, but they are probably more like a size 16 too. I'm happy to give these to you, as anything I don't give away will be burnt in a bonfire at my 'Bec's not a whale anymore Party' (no, I am serious!)
anyway let me know... ur in adelaide right? |

No, I'm in Brisbane, but my best friend lives in ADL, does that get me points
I'd love the jeans, if you don't mind, they'd be VERY much appreciated. I'd be happy to pay postage, if you like
I'll PM you.
Thanks!!!
I cleaned out the rest of my room today, and have HEAPS of especially work wear (more formal stuff) in size 26+ if anyone might be interested (even if you're over that size now and are planning ahead), please either post or PM me, otherwise I will start listing it for sale coz I have to get it out of here.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Clothes - free to a good home :) I have a size 18 pair of grey cargo pants from 'Big City Chic' - cost me $90, stretch, so they could probably fit you if your between size 20 - 18
I have a pair of size 18 blue rigid wide leg jeans from Target, that are quite nice
I have a pair of Rivers size 16 black pants - fold over, no fly....they are stretchy and I wore them even when I was a size 18, and they fitted....
I have a Size 18 Khaki Skirt which I bought and then shrunk to quickly and have never actually worn
I have a purple pair of size 16 rip curl boardies
I have a size 18 khaki pair of stretch pants from Suzanne Grae
Now with the pants, im short so theyve been taken up in the legs so If your tall they might be too short for you...also all the size 18 clothes have no tags (i was in denial that I was that size )
If your willing to pay for postage you can have any of these items....
I can email more measurements and photos if anyone is interested...I will have to do first in best dressed with these items
Also I am looking for size 14 jeans if anyone has any Pink |

Rep Power: 0 | | Di78, I have 4 pairs of size 14 pants you can have, They are all pretty much work style pants, a couple with pinstripes. they would all look nice with a crisp white shirt. I am screaming for size 12's! But in anycase let me know. You can email me on my work email wa@awardsaustralia.com and I will get them in the post to you today - they are all ready to go. If you don't need them anymore, anyone else needing size 14's urgently let me know. Have a great day everyone! |
