Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi there and welcome
I have had PCOS (diag. 11 years ago) and have finally found something that works for me - I had pain and pimples with the pcos and they have all but gone away - I also had gestational diabetes and endometrisos (can't spell) -doctor told me I'd need IVF and I haven't (got 2).
Anyway for weightloss I am probably at the slow end of the cohens scales but have lost 15.9kgs in 12 weeks.(no deviations)
Best of luck |

I have got PCOS and need regular ovarian drilling to keep me normal (6 monthly). I did 4 years of IVF then lost 2 babies after 20 weeks and then finally went on to have my daughter alas having to be on bedrest for 30 weeks and gestational diabetes so I have been doing hormones for a long time.
I started Cohens 3 weeks ago and to date have lost 10 kilos, it is easier than anything I have tried before and the great thing is side effects are slowly going and I got AF this month without having to be on anything so I'm happy

It's great to see that you have lost weight - more than I expected in such a short amount of time.
I'm 28 & was diagnosed with PCOS at 16! Have been on the pill and aldactone since then. Those kilos have crept up on me and I find the only diets that work are the low carb - eg Ultra light. I find that i give up to easy using excused such as weddings, birthdays etc to quit the program. NOT THIS TIME!
I am at my heviest, 79.4 and was once 57kgs.... 10 years ago! (have lost one kg overnight bringing me to 78.5) I know.. its water retention... I'll get there eventually. I am also in the Biggest Looser at Fernwood which should help me tone my new bod...
Thanks you guys.. you have inspired me even more! |

I also have PCOS and have tried many many things to loose weight. Including a Personal Trainer for a year and many types of drugs (which I hated taking)
I have lost approx 16kg in about 3 months. I have just started back 100% on monday as I had a few weeks where I wasn't sticking to the program 100% therefore have had no weightloss.
Cohens is amazing for weight loss and PCOS I have never been able to loose this much weight in any amount of time. This is the smallest I have been for about 4 years.

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi- Iam starting my Cohens tomorrow--ive had pack etc since Sept but always finding excuses..here goes wish me luck..I have PCOS and have luckily had no trouble falling pregnant-have 2 little angels...However since son was born last April have packed weight on and no period. Obst says ovaries covered and actually recommended Cohens- says he has had clients had major success--ie fallen pregnant after years of trying when only on Cohens for short while...im also sick of being 37 yrs and pimply and hairy and no energy....I know the insulin resistance is diabetes waiting to happen so figure time to wake up and do something so kiddies have an active mum-not someone who just wants to collapse on couch.... |

I also have PCOS but I am one of the lucky ones and don't have excess hair, I just have problems with my weight and irregular periods. I have more weight to loose than you (approx 40kg).
I started this program 18 months ago and lost 16kgs in approx 12 weeks. I was totally stoked. Then things with my boyfriend got serious and needless to say the diet was the first thing flicked and now I am back to square one and ready to lose weight again.
Cohens is definately the only thing that has worked for me so easily and quickly. I have contemplated trying other diets before going back to Cohens but realise it is just a waste of time because this is the thing that works.
I know now that I am not going to let all my hard work go up in smoke this time around and will get to my goal weight and stay there.
Anyways I am in it for the long haul so good luck and hopefully we will come out the other end.
