Exclamation Cohens questions

I am thinking of joining Cohens. I have been to see the consultant and just have to have my blood tests. I have never had a weight problem till i gave up smoking 5 years ago, now i just can't stop eating and most of the time i am not even hungry.

I have been looking at everyones comments and Cohens sounds like it could work for me but my consultant said it only lasts for 3 months. Now that concerns me when I have to pay $600 what if i can't loose 17kg in 12 weeks as that sounds too good to be true. I am worried i won't get the weight off as i can't afford to pay twice.

Can anyone who is on Cohens and who eats when they are not hungry (and usually chocolate or lollies) tell me how long it should take me....

Thanks
SUNFUN

I put on about 23Kg when I gave up smoking 6 years ago. I was not eating a lot when I went on Cohen's, but had tried to lose the weight in lots of ways with no success. I thought I was destined to be fat forever. I lost 25.5 kg in 17 weeks. Mind you I stuck to it 100%. I say go for it!

My consultant told me that as long as I stick to it and my blood tests show I'm not deviating then they will continue to support me for however long it takes, even though my contract is for 6 months. And I will also get my refeed no matter how late I finish, as long as I stick to it. Not sure if yours is the same, but it should be
I think the contract time is mostly there so that people don't just join and expect support forever even though they aren't committing 100% to it.

Sunfun, 17 weeks - You will do it soo easily in 17 weeks, you just need to stick to it 100% because if you deviate you will slow your weight loss down down for a week each time. I'm sure your consultant wont abandon you if you go to 18 or 19 weeks either! They do set those time frames because they KNOW that if you stick with it you will be there easily!
I have been on it for 19 weeks and have lost 23.something Kgs and I deviated really badly over Christmas. (wish I didn't) I should have lost it all by now!! I will be ordering my refeed in about 2 weeks time.
You can do this easily!
I do know what you mean about quitting smoking and stacking the wieght on - I did too, we just replaced one addiction with another. You need to really change your mindset and see this as an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and get your body to the healthiest it can possibly be. You wont only be a slim sexy new you, you will also have soo much more energy and vitality! You will LOVE it!! And you will especially love the comments of shear amazement by all your family and friends!!

SUNFUN
Sunfun - GO FOR IT!!!!!!

I am living proof you can lose 17kg in 12 weeks AS LONG AS YOU STICK TO IT 110%.
i lost nearly 22 kilos in 12 weeks(less than three calender months!) and i am still on the program as i have to lose about 35kg so i will finish around week 20 so all up around 4 and a half months. I can honestly say no diet has worked so well and produced such amazing results in short time. In regards to your contract time - are you signing up with an actual clinic? maybe youve mistaken and they said it should take you 3 months to lose but your actual contract support time is a little longer (they usually leave a few months extra support in case your body takes a little longer).

And please remember we all have different bodies, so depending on you height, starting weight, and any medical problems this could affect your weight loss, either way you will see those scales move...DOWNWARDS!

good luck
