slap my wrists and tell me to put the effort in and stop wasting money i dont have

Put the money you would spend on diet pills and put it towards your honeymoon or other wedding costs...

If you don't have one, start one soon, that is a food journal, the online ones are handy because they do all the addition for you... www.fitday.com is easy and the one i use... Then be totally honest with yourself to see where your calories are going.. My bet is you will be surprised...

Once you know where your calories are going, it's easier to cut back...

I use diet pills. IF you use them, I think after about a week you have gotten all the help from them you're going to get. After that you just get use to taking them and dont think they do that much more for you. Just my two cents..............

I use Hydroxycut but just short term. The best way is always portion control, cut out junk food and exercise. Reduce amount of calories coming in(healthy eating), while increasing amount of calories being expended (exercise). But I kick start with Hydroxycut.

Eat small meals throughout the day. If you're an emotional overeater, this is especially good. Fruit and walnuts in the morning, yogurt snack mid-morning, tuna sandwich on brown for lunch, wasa bread with hummus spread for afternoon snack, fruit snack, supper should be chicken or fish with a veggie and small, small portion of carb like rice, potato or pasta. NO EATING after supper, period.

And then make sure to either walk or jog or some kind of cardio every day. The weight will peel off, and fast.

I find Hydroxycut helps with cravings and gives me energy.

I tried hydroxy-cut and it gave me the jitters. Though this was back when everything had ephedrine in it. Now that I have lost the weight I have I don't need anything for energy. I do take lepotril to cut the sugar cravings. They are loaded with caffeine but I still don't get any bad effects from it. Though it is strange not having that coffee in the mornings. I hope starbucks are still around without my constant support lol.. Now I'm losing weight just by eating right and cutting out the white starches. Not that the starches are bad for yo but they send my sugar cravings into overdrive. Now I opt for more veggies and fruits and leaner meat. I tried to get off of meat and the carnivore in my tummy wouldn't hear of it. I think it does come down to simply eating right.

Weight loss pills or FAT BURNERS refer to the hundreds of products on the market today that can be purchased over the counter. Their purpose is to somehow burn off the fat by speeding up metabolism, or blocking fat in foods, or other methods.

The companies that sell these products employ savvy marketing techniques to hook you, with bold print ads and sometimes less than believable before and after pictures.

Are these products safe? They are not regulated by the FDA so these companies can put whatever herb, vitamin, or mineral in them as long as the substance isn’t illegal. Their have been few, if any, long term studies on any one of the hundreds of fat burners on the market.

DO THEY WORK? Many of these products have been shown to be effective for fat loss, though they may have negative side effects. Be aware these products can cause side effects such as rapid pulse, increased blood pressure, constipation, nervousness, sleeplessness, and lack of appetite.

Are they healthy to you and your weight loss goals? The jury is still out on the health benefits of any fat burner. These products should be looked at as temporary fixes to weight loss.

Most of them cause a decrease in appetite, which can lead you into a situation of not consuming enough calories on a daily basis. If you aren’t eating enough daily calories your body responds by slowing your metabolism, storing fat, and using muscle for metabolism. This can result in you losing weight, but muscle instead of fat.

The goal in any weight loss program should be to keep the muscle, lose the fat.

Fat burners might help you lose some weight in the short term, but once you stop taking them you run a high probability of gaining the weight back, especially if you aren’t following a healthy eating plan and moderate exercise program.

i got some pills called zantrex-3 and i think they work but im not too sure. when i take them i keep wondering if they are working and then i feel to have lose weight... i dont kno if its psychological or not! when i first took them it was horrible... if youve never drunk coffee before then you need to start on a low dose. stupidly i took 3 thinking i would b fine and my friend said she thought i was on speed or something. i couldnt keep still, i had palpitations, couldnt breathe properly, had the biggest headache ever, was sweating really bad and kept going hot and cold and kept going dizzy and nearly falling over... and thats not even half of it!

so if you take diet pills then read the label first and dont take the normal dose first or you might regret it. does anybody know of any natural ones that actually work?

woooooo another 2 pounds gone :-) hope this keeps carrying on like this. Still not sure wether its the new pills im taking or because im not eating much... and im not doing any exercise yet because of the weather.

today looks fine so i think ill have a walk and do some weights too and make myself drink 8 cups or water like im supposed to.. think i only had 2 yesterday, and if i do all that hopefully ill lose more :-) the now slim that im taking has ones you take at night too so this loss might be because it keeps your metabolism going at night.

Boyoboyoboy! Pills to lose weight!
You know I considered that but then decided against them. Every time there is a new magic pill that drops the weight, we find out later that some ingredient in it is not good .... increasing the metabolism by making the heart race faster seems to be a popular way, but I think it can be dangerous. Ephedrine is a prime example (and now I see it is being sold on the internet again). I decided that since I did not get fat overnight, I should not expect to get slim overnight either ...lol..

But hey you guys, I found a chocolate bar that burns fat (no kidding - ). The science is somewhat convoluted but what it does is if we eat it 15 - 20 minutes before activity (aha, that's the catch! activity!!!) then it will access our stored body fat for its source of energy right from the get go. From what I understand, it typically takes us approximately 30 minutes of excercising before we start burning fat (by which time most of us are already pooped!). This chocolate bar is not meant as a weight loss - more an energy bar for athletes (and wanna be athletes - but you have to get out of the chair).

I eat one before I go for my daily walk - can't say that the pounds are dropping like flies, but then I've only started 2 weeks ago. I joined a "system" The whole idea is to eat well, be active and develop a healthy lifestyle. Keeping track of everything I must say is a bit of a pain but I have a huge incentive to (for every day that I log in and keep track I get a $1.00 back - and this is a 90 day thing - I sure got steamed up when I forgot a few times and now I make sure I keep track....want those $$$ back :-)

So Michelle - 6 stone is like 55 lbs? You can do that in a year ... I noticed that you posted in June...what kind of success have you had so far?

alprazolam isn't a diet pill, it's the medical name for the generic xanax. it's a drug used for anxiety, not weight loss.

hi michelle. I can understand your problem. At the time of marriage everybody wants to be slim. As all look good you also want to get good looks. Last month I had found a site on weight loss. You can surf on that site may be you will get some kind of benefit from that. You can either take pills or do lot of work out. while using diet pills it good to maintain your diet and do exercises. But you need a quick weight loss so diet pills is the best option for you. You can find that on site http://www.acompliaslim.com.
May you get befefit from that site. Good luck.

Most weight loss pills are basically water pills. I took ripped fuel for a while, and it gave me some good energy, but it only worked because it flushes out water. I used a hydrometer to measure my BWI- it went from 45-38 on them....basically meaning I lost 15 pounds of water.

I am on diet pills....I take Fastin also known as Phentermine. I have been on these pills on and off since Jan. 2006 I was given the RX from my OB-GYN after having my second and final child! I lost a total of 35 lbs. in 6 months. BUT......When I came off the diet pills I gained about 10lbs. right off the bat. My sister tried the same pills and they did nothing for her. I am back on them now, and I feel great, lots of energy! But I have heard that the equal to this med if you can't get it through your Doctor, is ReliCore! My Boss has been taking this for about a month and has seen dramatic results in her stress levels being lower, her mid section, and appitite. I think that I am going to try that when my pills run out. Anyone else here ever tried Relicore????

I used caffeine as a metabalism booster. same side effect as any soda drink increases risk of heart problems. Seeing as i already drink soo much sugar and soda and what not. caffeeine pills let me skip the whole sugar stuff and things i don't want. 1 can coke = 10 tblspoons of sugar. anything else is bollocks on losing weight.

I didn't like the Caffeine types .... just the Lipotropic ones...

I have a displacement eating syndrome... I eat under stress... but have started exercise and Lipotropic pills together for a very good result..

I have found some cheap on UK eBay using keywords

"lipotropic weight loss cheapest"

and saw a few that I used to use they seem to be cheaper now...

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Thanks!

The pill to use is SLIMQUICK the female fat burner. Alls you need to do is watch what you eat (no junk food). Drink at least 4 glasses of water a day and take a 20 min walk. Walk fast 5 min and then slow for 5 mins. If you have a dog take the dog with you. The first week you will lose the water retention in your body. then after that you will start losing the pounds.

Only taking slimming pills will not help you lose weight. You need to change your eating plan and exercise regularly to achieve best results.

However some slimming pills can help you on the jorney to long term weight loss. Check also this site for more info: slimmingreviews.com

Any weight loss through pills or surgery without a lifestyle change is going to come back.

I wouldn't want a magic pill or surgery. I know me, if i didn't have to work for it, I won't change and Ill jsut get fat again ( and probably much worse.)

I have forgotten how many diets I had already tried and failed at - including pills.Recently a friend of mine who had a slightly 'bigger' problem than me started loosing weight - and believe me I've known her for years and she has tried most diets and pills. She said she started using a new Thinz diet pill (But the herbal one - alcachofra (?)) and it has worked for her. I've found some product info about it on a site and I like that it seems to be a natural remedy. But before I jump in and try it - can anyone tell me if it works?

maleficent

What's your definition of works?

And don't get stuck on the notion that natural = safe.. It's not always.

I'd bet a box of chocolates that somewhere on the box/bottle/container/instructions that no one ever bothers to read - states pretty clearly that the remedy works IN CONJUNCTION with a sensible diet and exercise.

Guess what - sensible diet and exercise are effective on their own.

It is great that you want to lose some weight for your wedding. Please remember that there is no perfect size. Pick a weight where you will be happy and healthy with yourself. Now as far as the slimming pills go, yes some work . I personally own a brand of Lita' Extra Strength herbal weight loss pills that i sell to my family, friends and community. If they did not work then i would be out of business fast. I have a lot of testimonials from customers. For research purposes-Lida daidaihua contained ephredra at one time then they changed it to bitter orange extract which has the same effects and dangers as ephredra. Do not take if you have high blood pressure, heart problems or had a stroke. If you would like more information on weight loss pills please email me at elananny@yahoo.com Thanks Elizabeth

Well she lost 15kgs and has kept it off - she says she feels great. Of course she used a sensible eating program too - including exercise - she just said that these pills helped to increase her energy levels and keep her on track. They also had no nasty side effects as the prescription type drugs - so I have decided to go ahead and give it a try. Will keep you posted. She gave me the link with full product info - but unable to post link here. Send me an email to: machellemunro@yahoo.com if you want to read the info on this tablet.
