Like everyone else here I am begging for some help. I have been trying for months to upload a profile picture for myself. I've tried different formats, pixel sizes, and resolutions to no success. What the heck am I doing wrong. When I tell it to upload it succeeds and shows a thumbnail in the edit profile page, but it never materializes on the forum pages!!?? Here is a list of some of the image characteristics the latest I have tried:

.jpg 38KB 100x100 pixels
.tif 25kb 100x100
.jpg 28kb 80x80
.gif 7kb 80x80

The edit box says that you can upload a picture that is up to 100x100 or 97.7kb (whichever is smaller). Originally I tried to post images that were close to this but they didn't work out, so I resized them lower and lower. The 7kb .gif was for trial because it really isn't worth posting when it is that crappy.

Are my pictures that ugly that even the forum is rejecting them? LOL. This isn't a big deal, but I am curious about what's happening.

are you trying to upload it as an avatar? that's the picture that will show up next to your name.. or a profile picture -which only shows up if smeone clicks on your profile?

I couldn't upload mine from my computer so I put it in photobucket and uploaded it from another website. The other way didnt work for me.

Duuhh... well aren't I the complete moron. I seriously hoped it was a computer/forum problem and not a mental problem!
