very very slow?

is the board moving extrememly slow for anyone else? i can't really get into any threads. it took me five minutes to get in here to post this. everytime i click i get interference from google syndication. its not happening on any of my other boards so i don't really know if its just my computer or what. anyone else having issues?

Nope. I'm all fine. Well, except for the quick formatting buttons not working, but that's apparently due to WLF renovations.

Have you tried blocking google syndication?

None of the images in the post are coming up I only see X where there is supposed to be an image. anybody else having this issue

yes, other people are having that issue. its because of the changes being made...should get better. its better for me now actually. i don't see the x's anymore. but anyway...if anyone would like to tell me how to rid myself of this stupid google syndication, it would be greatly appreciated.

Using Firefox (browser) with the NoScript and Adblock Plus add-ons will be a good start. You will have to get used to manually allowing scripts you want, which can be a bit of a hassle at times, but it's a cleaner, faster world.

There's also domain blocking with OpenDNS and host rerouting, but chances are you don't want to get into that. The above will more than likely be good enough.
