Welcome to the site!

Not sure the answer to your question, I would suggest posting it under the appropriate category; this one is for introductions.

Are you asking how to keep track of your BMI like we track our weight ..on the chart?? I dont' think you can do that. You'll have to keep track of it yourself somehow.

The weight loss table calculcates your bmi automatically, as long as you enter your height and weight... least mine does... (though it doesnt take into consideration bone size or muscle mass... least i don't think so) it really gives you arough estimate...

Okay Gordita, I see you haven't updated your profile yet on the weight loss table, so here are the main links:

Weight loss forum - http://weight-loss.fitness.com/
Weightloss table - http://weight-loss.fitness.com/wl_table.php
Update profile - http://weight-loss.fitness.com/wl_signup.php
Update progress - http://weight-loss.fitness.com/wl_update.php

When you are in the main weight loss forum (home) page, the Weight Loss Table is the first item listed. Then you click on Update Profile and add your info. Later you input your weight each week by clicking on Update Progress.

Ok, the profile asks you to specify kg or lbs for weight, and cm, inches, or ft/inches for height. Then it asks for your age, weight, height and goal weight. You can also share your weight loss program (how you plan to lose weight) and can choose to share or keep the info you input here Private. Click Submit to save your changes.

Weight and Height are all you need to enter for it to calculate your BMI. BMI is Body Mass Index. It is a ratio of weight to height. It does not consider your age, sex, fat, muscle, bone. It is what it is.

BMI = weight (lb) x 703
----------------
height (in) x height (in)

Some people might be high on their BMI because they are very muscular or have big bones. But for most people here, it's a good goal to get in the healthy range, and out of the overweight or obese range. There is another number called body fat percentage that some people also like to look at, but I won't get into that here.

So a weight of 170 and a height of 5'6" would be a BMI
= (170 x 703) / (66 x 66) = 27.44
A healther weight for someone 5'6" would be 142 lbs (22.92 BMI)

BMI
18.5 or less Underweight
18.5 - 24.9 Normal
25.0 - 29.9 Overweight
30.0 - 39.9 Obese
40 or greater Extremely Obese

The CDC puts out two calculators, one for adults and one for children/teens:
