WATER!
Drink plenty of fresh, clean water. Yes, I know that you've heard this over and over again. But there's a reason for that - it's the gospel truth! The recommended amount is approximately eight glasses, or 64 ounces, of water every day. When you are exercising, you need to drink even more. Over 75% of your body is water (even bone is more than 20% water). When you don't drink enough water, and substitute diuretics like coffee, tea and caffeinated sodas, you dehydrate your body, your blood doesn't flow properly and your digestive system doesn't operate smoothly (among other problems). Even a small deficit of water can radically affect how your body performs. Here's a good rule of thumb: if you're urine is a dark yellow and/or has a strong odor, you're not drinking enough water. Drink up!

PART1
Someones posting got me thinking......
Some people on a weightloss journey might have a day along the way, where that make a wrong choice and then they let their very powerful BRAIN TAKE CONTROL! This is not good... We must all remember " WE ARE IN CONTROL! WE CAN CONTROL OUR MIND!"
Then the Mind start playing this game with us and this is where failure begins. We let our inner thoughts tell us that we are Failures, Were Doamed, We were born to be over weight, we will always be this way

PART 2
Think of this: Our Kids make mistake and we Hug Them, Tell Them we love them and that's it's ok.... They will learn by there mistakes.... What the heck is the difference? We all have a bad day, We all make Errors and Mistakes! We also learn by them!
If you have a bad day or a bad meal.... Learn from it! Instead of letting your MIND CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS! try this
Have an Inner conversation with yourself and ask questions and really listen to yourself... Ask Questions Like...
Why did I do that?
Was that really worth it?
Was I with people that dont care that am losing weight and tell me things like... It's Ok...1 piece wont hurt you... Try this you'll like it...
Take Control Today and HOLD ON! Your journey is your hands! You can do this! You can Control This! You are a Winner!

HEART RATE
To make sure your heart is beating in its target zone, you'll need to know how to monitor your heart rate. The easiest way is to feel the pulse in the carotid artery on either side of your neck, between the windpipe and the large neck muscles. Count the number of beats in ten seconds, then multiply by six. This gives you the number of beats per minute.
Most GYM'S have a poster with Heart Rate Information.
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOU HEART RATE AND WHAT IS YOUR PROPER ZONE! FOR YOUR AGE! KICKIN IT UP IN 09

Daily Consumption of Almonds May Help You Eat a Healthier Diet
If you've been reluctant to add almonds to your diet because of their high calorie count, a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition may help convince you to give these delicious, nutrient-dense nuts a try.
In this study, the normal eating patterns of 43 men and 38 women were followed for 6 months.

PART 2
Then they were told to eat approximately 2 ounces or one-quarter cup of almonds daily but were given no other instructions about changing their diet, and followed for an additional 6 months. By the end of the study, a number of very beneficial changes were seen to naturally occur.
While eating almonds, study participants' intake of health-promoting monounsaturated fatty acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, fiber, vegetable protein, vitamin E, copper and magnesium significantly increased by 42, 24, 12, 19, 66, 15, and 23%, respectively.
At the same time, their intake of trans fatty acids, animal protein, sodium, cholesterol and sugars significantly decreased by 14, 9, 21, 17 and 13%, respectively. Both sets of changes in nutrient intake closely match the dietary recommendations known to prevent cardiovascular and other chronic diseases.

SET GOALS - Part 1
Setting goals has the advantage of focusing on what you intend to achieve. A goal acts as a form of mental contract with yourself and your degree of motivation will drive you to complete that contract. If the goal is too hard to achieve it can affect your success. The subconscious mind does not distinguish between big or little, it only knows success or failure. If you set a goal of four training sessions each week but only complete three then the mind sees this as a failure. For this reason you must set realistic and easily reachable goals. When you attain each goal it gives momentum to increase the level of motivation further.
Try these tips
write down your goals
*set easy goals often so you create a habit of success in the mind
*set measurable goals - I will lose 1 pound each week. This gives you something to go for
*tell friends and family about your goals for motivational support
*make any routine fun and exciting to help maintain interest

AET GOALS - Part 2
*try new challenging goals to stop your normal routine from becoming a chore
*reward your success on reaching a goal
*think positively, replace thoughts like "I can't" with "I can and I will"
*don't set goals that are too much too soon
You Can DO This
