I'm a reporter doing a story for Glamour about doctors doing cosmetic work who aren't board certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists.

If anyone on these boards has had an experience with Dr. Bittner (or another doctor who is not a plastic surgeon but advertises himself/herself that way), please contact me - i am looking for first hand experiences with this! There are a LOT of docs out there getting into cosmetic work, particularly OB/GYNs.

This is Alan Bittner, MD. This poster called Fluffy Bear is a patient of mine who I treated two times. She has since claimed many outrageous and nonsensical claims, stolen my social security number (which she brags about routinely), called my office over 50 times, posted all over the internet on multiple blogs with numerous different names, harassed myself and my staff, threatened me and my family, insulted my wife and children, and made numerous accusations that are entirely baseless. She has recently begun sending explicit emails depicting animal abuse to my staff and demanding payments ranging from $5 to $2 million in order to prevent her from going to the "FBI" with what she calls "evidence". I have already defended myself against her charges on other websites so I will not waste more time doing so here.

This poster has already been prohibited from blogging on six other sites, that I know of. She posts under many different names. My posts can always be found under my own name, like this one.

As for my Physician Assistant, Trevor Schmidt, he is an honorable man and I cannot stand by while this patient rudely insults him and questions his integrity. I pay my staff very well because they are well qualified professionals. I hope my assistants are the highest paid in the country - I have no problem being generous. By being generous with pay, benefits and vacation, I get my pick of the most talented and dedicated staff. As you can read from other testimonials, my staff is wonderful, caring and excellent at what we do. I also give my office staff 5 weeks of vacation a year. If you think that makes me a bad person, don't come to me for liposculpture.

The names and qualifications of my staff are available to anyone that asks.

Other posts here are correct in that liposculpture is not for weight loss. While this procedure can remove 10 or more pounds from a patient in a single procedure, the purpose of liposculpture is cosmetic. I think that this issue is not longer even debated. I cannot be any more clear except to say that if you are interested in losing weight, the answer is diet and exercise, not cosmetic surgery.

Anyone who sees my credentials or reads my website can see on numerous pages that I do not call myself a plastic surgeon. To be clear, I am not a plastic surgeon and I do not do plastic surgery. I perform liposculpture, which is a minimally invasive surgery to remove excess fat deposits. Liposculpture was invented by dermatologist and obgyn's, so it is natural that they also perform the procedure. I have performed close to 6000 procedures and I have not ever had a patient have a serious complication or infection. This list of bizarre lies is a very real example of how this doctor works to try to discredit anyone who challenges him. Does your lawyer know you're printing lies that can be validated with independent IP and telephone record data? Nuff said.

Huh??? You perform plastic surgery but claim it is not really plastic surgery...

Wait are you finally admitting that nobody should consider you a plastic surgeon?????? OH MAN THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! You have just made my day. Thank you. I'll sleep well tonight!

Uh I know you may not realize this (given you're NOT a real plastic surgeon), but it IS classified as a "surgical procedure." And yes, I have reprints of seven separate web sites in which you represent yourself as a plastic surgeon, register yourself as a plastic surgeon or cosmetic surgeon. Is this working for you?

Hey bittner and trevor...why can't I post a reply to your posts? Is it because you both destroyed my body and my life? That was NOT in your website as an option!!! Where's Kyle your "numbing girl"? She was proved by the state board that she was and is NOT qualified in any manner to have done surgery on my body or anyone else's. How do you intend to compensate me for destroying my life? It is amazing how much you are willing to pay your "scream team" for the destruction as we are left with constant pain and agony. I have just begun posting but will insure that I start posting my pictures so everyone can see just how you" permanently shape bodies". I can't even find a qualified board certified reconstructive surgeon who has seen anything worse or can assure me that they can help. How does one get a refund so that I can afford to try to reconstruct my painful body? Are there any attorneys out there with the integrity and stamina it takes to help me?

It's funny that this thread gets people coming back when nobody involved (at least the primary people) post here anymore. They did for such a short time.

Steve.. the people who are disgruntled are real. Trevor, Jullian, Kyle, Rod, Michelle, Dina, Jonathon, Phillip, they are all monsters. Real monsters... not the kind who hide under your kid's bed at night. Stephanie Darcy and Craig Alan Bittner are the source of evil that drives them to do what they do.

This is not a simple case of malpractice. They all did what they did KNOWING they had no right to do it. KNOWING they were deceiving the women who trusted them. I still have Jullians smile in my face.. that grin she has as she took my paperwork and sent in me to be mutilated liek it was no big deal.

Beverly Hills Liposculpture is front for a crime ring organized around deliberately and willfully mutilating women under the guise of providing liposuction... all in order to willfully defraud them or their money. All of the people I listed above choose to take part in what is happening and choose to stay silent becaue of the ungodyly amounts of money they were earning.

Join me in seeing them all put in prison for a very very long time.

Making diesel out of women's fat just shows how disturbed this doctor is. Jonathon is the scumbag grinning beside him... the one who helped torture and mutilate me. He too has no medical license or right to operate on anyone. I hope he spill the diesel on himself and lights a match.

As for the pain. I have endured four months of weekly and biweekly hyperbaric therapy to reduce the chronic pain from the adhesions and mutilation. I can at least have my kids hug my arm without screaming in pain as happened for the first three months.

This man and his "team" are all monsters. They can run but they cannot hide. Email me and I will get you to the lawyers who can help you.
