Growing up, staying active was easy. Every week was packed with regular activities such as soccer practice, PA classes and tennis. Attending these activities was never a chore since they were socially and personally rewarding. Doing sports was the norm, being inactive was unheard of.

However, transcending into adulthood, these weekly activities faded away as school ended and people went their separate ways. Exercise turned into something you had to take much greater personal responsibility for. Staying active became harder.
Ever since, I have been fascinated with how most people know that exercise and diet are key components of a healthy and hi-quality life. Yet, many people have a hard time getting around to it. Why is it that knowing what's good doesn't lead to doing what's good?
As a consequence, I specialized in health psychology to better understand the motivational and volitional processes that dictate whether people succeed in their endeavors. It's been an illuminating journey that has helped me turn my lifestyle around and reconnect with what is healthy. Today, I work professionally to help others with their lifestyle changes. It is my belief that changing ones lifestyle - though seemingly daunting - can be turned into a fun and rewarding process.
