Rep Power: 0 | | | What is your exercise schedule? I usually get up at 5 to fit in my workout before everyone gets up. I never seem to have the time if I wait until after work. |

Rep Power: 18 | | | I thought it would be easier to workout because I am a Stay at home mom, but I found my schedule so hectic and unorganized. I couldn't figure out how to fit in time for myself. I'm starting to come around and take advantage of any free moments I get. Sometimes it's really hard to stay motivated after caring for two toddlers all day long. I missed the routine set by work and the time I had to workout (Ex-Military). Being accountable to someone really helped. Coming to these forums is going to be a great help. It's good to find you guys.

Rep Power: 1803 | | | I'm fortunate enough to work in an uptown environment that has several gyms within walking distance. I always walk to the gym during lunch break.
I also like to take the family to the track near our house. My stay-at-home wife and our 2 daughters (4 years old and 4 months old). Lately though that has not worked so well. Our oldest is becoming uncontrollable at the track.

Rep Power: 6668 | | | I worked out on the afternoons for the longest time. Now with recent schedule changes, I get up at 5.40 and go run for 45 min in a park near my house 5 days a week. By 7.00 am I out the door. Also on Mon and Thurs i go to my gym's "boot-camp" class, from 5.30pm that is my strenght-training for 45 min. i have one rest day but it is always a different day.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I try to excercise while my son is taking a nap. It's hard to get into a routine because his naps vary from day to day.
Sometimes there's just no time, but I take the stairs two at a time when I am going up and down doing laundry and I try to stretch and work out while doing housework. Eg. lunges while vacuuming, stretching while putting away dishes, walking around in high heels to tone my calves etc...

Rep Power: 18 | | | Whenever I can I try to workout wherever I can. With kids, it's never the same. Nap time. I tried mornings, but I couldn't make it work. Going to the Y has been helpful and I'll usually try to go in the morning so the little ones can play in the child care area. Sometimes I wait til after dinner so that my husband can watch the kids while I go for a slow run or jaunt around the neigborhood. |

Just the last 2 weeks ive been doubling my excercise shedule, I wanna see big results faster so my new routine is doing a workout tape in the mornings while my 4 yr old is at kindy and my twin babies are asleep. then in the afternoons I walk with my neighbour for 40 mins. Im also doing a fitclass (body shape & sculpt, and Aerobic Dance) twice a week for a bit of me time, twins are in the creche for fitclass, Dancing is at night) so its great being able to get outta the house and do something good for myself at the same time

Rep Power: 1247 | | | I usually workout in the early mornings or evening. I usually run at 6am and in the evening I will do a course at the gym-I was doing strenght training but I got bored so i am going to try to get into it again.
On the weekends i try to aim for a Long run and I do yoga and or salsa dancing at my gym.

Rep Power: 232 | | | exercise routine I put my daughter to bed at 6, do an exercise DVD and stretches and then study until my partner comes home from work. If I am procrastinating from study, I might do some more exercise. I try to walk to and from uni whenever I can. I just have something light for dinner so I can exercise better and so that I'm not spending too much time cooking and cleaning (my time is so limited!) | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
