Rep Power: 0 | | wow! you are right! my math was wrong. very fuzzy brain ever since the baby came.
That means I only have around 60! Because, yes, my goal is 125. My sister has poo-pooed my goal and thinks I have too-high expectations. In fact, I am finding that most people are discouraging of something like this in general.
Why is that, I wonder?

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi there! My little girl was born last April, she's 10 months old now. I know what you mean about the fat just hanging on. It's so hard trying to find time to exercise because i also have a 6 year old who gobbles up most of the rest of my free time. However, I did find an exercise video that works for me, and there are so many of them out there to choose from that it can be mind boggling. Good Luck! |

I also need motivation. I think I'll be on this site more often. I'd love to support each other.

Rep Power: 0 | | Well, I am new here, I was actually surfing about baby fat and loosing it, when I came across this site. I was 155 before I got pregnant and weighted 213 when I delivered. I had to have a c-section. I had a 9 lb 10 oz baby. I have 22 pds to loose and they are not coming off! I am in the military so I have to work out, but I still do not loose weight. We run at least 2 miles every other day and do sit ups and push ups the other two days. I am still breastfeeding. But I am not worried, I will give it a yr. I am under a lot of stress. |

I can relate, I hae two little boys now that are 3 and 4. After my 2nd I found it difficult to lose the last 10lbs. I know that doesn't sound like much but when you can't fit into old clothes and have a lot of baby fat still, it's tough.
I have some great info on a cleansing and fat burning system that actually detoxifies the body and one of the side effects is weight loss. It's a very healthy way to lose weight, not one of those fad diets that are so unhealthy.
My husband and I did a 9 day cleanse and I lost 8lbs and 13.5 inches and he lost 20lbs and 27 inches! We were so impressed, especially him as he's never been able to stick to anything but now we don't have cravings for junk food anymore. It's been wonderful.
It's been very rewarding being able to help so many people finally lose weight and I'd be happy to help. Feel free to PM me. |

The baby weight drives me nuts! Only women know what it's like.. your whole body is changed after pregnancy! But don't get down on your hopes everyone because even just a little exersize 3 times a day or maybe just walking daily... you'll lose the weight... slowly, yeah - healthily, OH YEAH! And you won't have to worry that way about it creeping back up on you... that's the last thing women's need on their minds when we've got our babies to take care of.
Cheers! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I have decided to not worry about the baby fat!
I am in the military - we run between 6-15 miles a week aside from push-ups and sit-ups. And I have not lost an ounce, although my pants do fit looser, I look thinner than before, that is for sure. I eat healthy, I hve stopped with the junk food and I breast feed, so what more!!!! Well, I am going to enjoy the extra pounds and as one of my co-workers said, I am X-tra sexy, and have 22 worries, not pds, lol. I will miss the extra pounds so I will enjoy them for now! HEHE> |

I am just new here so I am hoping this works. I am a nursing mother of 4. Actually only one is nursing. I can't lose this weight. I've been told that nursing helps to lose weight, but not on me. Nice to know someone else is like that out there.
See ya |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hi Jodlyn and Talie,
I am new to the forum, but not to this weight, I had my son Jaaziah 4 mo ago by c-section, he was a diffilcult prgegnancy, and I have 72lbs to get back to my prepgregnancy weight. He is my first I wasn't able to breastfeed due to him being in the nicu, he was 4.11 when he was born now he weighs 13.3 so he is doing very well. I feel horrible with this weight on me, do you guys know anything about the Mayo Clinic Diet I plan to start it on Monday 7-31 the plans promises 52lbs lost in 2.5 mo. A coworker told me her mom did it and it really works. Well stay encoraged guys............ |

I haven't heard of the mayo clinic diet. What is it about? One thing that really helped me lose weight before was reading Dr. Phils book. I know that sounds crazy, but the mental insight was unbelievable. I am trying to read itt again to see if it will work this time.
I also do pilates. I just can't get my weight down. I will work hard all week and eat good, and then I stand on the scale and it is up AGAIN!!!!!
Oh, well, I will keep trying and then see what happens after nursing.
See ya. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I have a 8 month old, I gained 58 pounds.Ouch. I also have a 3 year old. I am almost back to pre-baby, but needed to lose 25-30 pounds before that even happened. Double Ouch. I am breastfeeding my big 23 pounder, so I am unsure what things you're not supposed to do as far as diet and exercise while breastfeeding. Any tips???

Rep Power: 20 | | | Hannes- They are discouraging cause for many it's true. I wieghed 112lbs before, took 14 months to get to 119 (delivery 153). #2, I delivered at 159lbs at got pregnat at 147(lost during first tri) and I'm now sitting at 150lbs, 8 months post partum.
You can do it, if you're committed. GL luck everyone! I'm not committed enough it seems.

Rep Power: 0 | | Hannes..I can relate to the non support issue. My husband says...You don't need to lose anymore weight, but looks at me a little differently when I am thinner. I think alot of the non support is jealousy because you are doing something positive for yourself, you are making a change and some people are uncomfortable with change. I know 60 pounds seems like alot, but one day at a time and before you know it you'll be saying.."I only have 5 pounds to go". You can do it!!!!!!
