Cat babybelly is on a distinguished road
help with desastis reci

Hi I recently gave birth to my second child, both big babies and close together. I now have a 3 finger gap between my stomach muscles which has left my stomach pretty distorted looking, I know that I need to avoid stomach exercises like sit ups and crunches untill till gap is under 2cm or it will make it worse. I have been working the trans abdominals by holding in my stomach muscles for untervals and releasing. But someone told me that sometimes when the seperation is bad like this they dont ever go back together and I will be left with a distorted stomach like this no matter what I do, unless I have surgery. I hate the way my stomach looks I have a hole in the middle with the sides all raised up and its giving me a lot of lower back pain as I have no stomach muscles to support my back when bending or lifting.

Any ideas, is this true, is there anything I can do?

I have a friend who swears by the book "Lose Your Mummy Tummy"...I think that's the title.

She carried twins. And years later she found this book and she said it made a huge difference.

Good luck! And also, remember to look at your belly and think about what it did for you..2 beautiful babies! I know it's a cliche but it's true!
