Rep Power: 969 | | I gained 80lbs! [But ive lost 50 in 4months] Any other moms out there who gained A LOT like me? I gained 80lbs when I was pregnant with my son. I had him in February of this year and have been working out 5X a week and eating super healthy. Luckily its paying off. I have lost 50lbs already. My goal is to lose the rest [and than some] by October [my 24th BDay]
Also one thing im not sure if it will ever come back, but im working on it, is my stomach. I had a C-Section so my skin is lose and saggy. It isn't as saggy though as it was about 2 months ago. I have been running a lot and im assuming the running has been helping. I just hope some day I can step out in a Bikini again! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I gained 72 pounds! I gained 72 pounds when I was pregnant with my daughter. I have lost 52 of it, but it has take me 15 months of half-hearted diet and exercise. Now, I'm serious. I have 20 pounds to get to my pre-baby weight, but I was 10-20 pounds (depending on what "ideal body weight" chart you're referring to)overweight to begin with. My goal is to lose all 40 of my extra pounds.
This is really mean, but I used to make fun of my sister because she gained 84 pounds when she was pregnant with my niece. Then, the same thing happened to me, and I was a lot more active than her. How the heck did that happen?

Rep Power: 1253 | | I gained 55 lbs with my first, and never lost it all before getting prego with my second. And surprisingly, I didn't gain as much weight (probably b/c I already weighed more to begin with ). That is awesome that you have already made such amazing strides!! Keep up the good work. Your goal seems totally attainable.
(And as for the stomach... mine were both au naturale births, and I definitely still have a bit of extra flappage that I could stand to work on. No results to report in that dept yet). |

Rep Power: 969 | | Ugh, I just want someone to be like "Oh ya... give it about 5months and you'll have 6-pack abs!"... But... I know that would never happen lol. Isn't possible, unless of course im a celebrity. I've always wondered how them women go from getting huge ol' bellies, getting c-sections and than 6 weeks later prancing around with a 6-pack. Boggles my mind! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I read somewhere in the news a few weeks ago something Heidi Klum said; (not an exact quote, I'm just paraphrasing) "Women come up to me and ask me, will I look like you after my baby is born? I say, what did you look like before? You can't kid yourself." Being genetically gifted is a big part of some of those women's post-baby bodies, but most of them have to work hard at it, too. But we'd all look like that if if our career depended on being gorgeous, and we had a staff of personal trainers, chefs, housekeepers and nannies to help out. Somehow, that doesn't make any of us regular people feel better, though.

Rep Power: 969 | | | Ya thats true... but look at Jennifer Nicole Lee. She lost 70lbs after having 2 kids. She went on to become a fitness trainer, a model [like the MAXIM kind and fitness model] and miss Bikini America... I guess if you really want it [which I do] than its possible! |

Rep Power: 6298 | | | All right, I checked out Jennifer Nicole Lee (how can you be a devoted wife when you're in those kinds of pictures?...sorry. anyway...) and I remembered something from TTAPP (which is a kind of neat fitness program). The woman on there discussed body types and I think that might play into what you're talking about.
JNL's body has an extremely looonnnggg torso, which means her organs have lots of room to wander around in there without sticking out. If your body has a short torso...good luck!

Rep Power: 0 | | | I'm sure everybody knows somebody that went home from the hospital with their new baby, wearing their old size 2 jeans. (I am thinking of a particular girl that I know.) They eat just like every other junk-food loving American, never look at a dumbbell, and don't own a pair of running shoes. Ugh. How do you get so lucky?

Rep Power: 969 | | | A lot of people will say genes play a part in it all but than again I always call the B.S flag on that one. My mother was one of them "lucky" ones who put her size 6 jeans on after having me and my sister... blah.... |
