Rep Power: 8111 | | | Has anyone tried Stroller Strides? Has anyone tried Stroller Strides? It's a fitness program for moms and their babies. I saw a piece about the program on the news. Before checking it out, I wanted to hear experiences with the program.

However as a social thing I am sure it would be nice to meet some other moms. If that is the goal then go for it. If weight loss or fitness is the goal, I say save your money. Too many ways to accomplish them without paying someone. Take the money and buy one of those nice jogging strollers and then do the couch to 5k plan.

I can't say too much about Stroller Strides, I've never actually taken any of their classes. I do teach StrollerFit® classes though and love it. I started out just taking the class and ended up buying a franchise. In StrollerFit® you do so much more than just walk. In a 60 minute class we do cardio drills, strength training, core work and stretching all while playing and interacting with our little ones. All this comes from a personal trainer with additional certifications for Pre/PostNatal fitness design.
You can always try a free class and see if you like it.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Edco76 - Stroller Strides is WAY more than just walking around. It is a total fitness program that includes intervals of power walking, cardio bursts, resistance training, abs, and stretching. The instructors are certified and specially trained in pre- and post-natal fitness.
I love Stroller Strides classes and my 2 year old does too! He has learned so many songs and even will model the exercises at home - too cute! For me, it is a great total package - moms get a great workout, the kids are engaged through songs and rhymes, and moms build friendships and support networks with other moms.
Your first class is always free and, depending on your local area, you might be able to catch a special for your first week free. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I have never tried Stroller Strides, but now that im seriously motivated in my excersize routine, I think it would be something I would LOVE! I know there is a local group here and since im still on the hunt for friends, sounds like a good idea!
