hi...my name is amanda and i have a daughter who is getting ready to turn 18 months...let me tell you a little bit about my situation...my fiance left for prison when i was 3 months pregnant..he got 3 yrs. mandatory time...i had my daughter in July 2005 and during my pregnancy i gained 80 lbs....which was A LOT for me to handle...it was a due to edema...before i got pregnant i was 135...i was working on going into the airforce but got pregnant before i could get accepted...now i am currently @ 185 and my man is due to come home a week before christmas 2007...so my goal is to drop 50 lbs. before that time...do you think 50 is unreasonable??? and i know what some of you might be thinking...but im not doing this so that he'll accept me b/c he already has...he loves me no matter how much i weigh...its just that i dont want to be this unhealthy...so...for new years *after i get my income tax check* im going to buy a treadmill...b/c the weather out here is too weird to take the baby out in...i just need some motivation...and i thought a forum would be good for that...

Hi, my situation is way different than yours as I was 180 BEFORE pregnancy and I am 137 NOW, lol. But I just wanted to give you encouragement and tell you that I definately think you can do it. You have a whole year and if you stick to it then you can make it to your goal weight for sure.
