So....needless to say I've been fairly big my entire life. For some reason or another my intense love affair with food has left me longing for something more (than a donut). So I have decided to lose it all and not stop until I have.

I first gained the weight in a feeble attempt to find someone whom loved me for me (sad I know). I felt that if they cared for me and my personality, and my appearance, then nothing could ever come between us. Unfortunately I failed to realize that women are not too attracted to a mouthy, quip extraordinaire and emotionally unavailable Irishman from Massachusetts (yeah, I know....I'm shocked too). So after my last crippling trist with my ex, I have decided that I'm done with being fat....I typically have no trouble taking it off but as I mentioned before, I'm a little crippled right now and feel a need for some motivation.

I came upon this site and I figured....ehhhh....what can it hurt. I like how the site has challenges and diaries and the such. Keeps you on your toes and motivated. I plan on losing 70-80 pounds in the next 3-4 months. In a perfect world that would put me somewhere around 230-240. This may seem to still be big, but I do have alot of muscle (I just like to keep it plenty insulated).

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello and wanted to know if I could entice anyone into a little friendly competition. Say a gentleman's bet ($1.00 for those who don't know or a beer after we've completed our goals....I'm Irish not unreasonable). I must warn you that I'm renewing my gym membership (oooooh snap) and I recently purchased a new Reebok elliptical machine/end table.

So I welcome anyone to respond, but I must warn you that I love to poke fun and compete. As long as your o.k. with that....I'm o.k. with you. Sorry if it seems harsh....but I have to do what I have to do to achieve my goals.

P.S. Ladies, I know that you will be pounding down my door to get the catch of a lifetime in a man who has a job, has the bluest eyes you've ever seen and can keep you laughing constantly (although he's a mouthy, quip extraordinaire and emotionally unavailable man). But please, keep your eye on the main goal....to lose some weight and lose a bet to me.

So I lost this website from when I last logged on and it appears that RJAZ520 has taken a commanding lead....YOU BASTARD I NEVER SAID ON YOUR MARK SET GO!!!!!!!!!!!!....Cheater....JK....Much love from one big man to another....Somehow the anticipation of St. Patty's Day and the giddyness that is a day filled with boiled meat and green shots of beer (FYI Jagermeister DOES NOT turn green with food coloring no matter HOW MUCH you try) has led me adrift on the cupcake raft that is my life....So we are back on track....I have dumped my cupcake raft yet again and fashioned a canoe that I carved from a giant carrot I found on my St. Patty's day excursion. Let's us pool together what little sober, sugar avoiding, abstinent brain cells we have left and get this done. For some reason I'm not getting any notifications to responses. OK my little dozers (down in Fraggle Rock - clap clap -)....since when did I become the funny one of the group?? Is it because I'm fat?? I'm fat therefore I'm "jolly"....why is my weight always an issue with you people....geesh....You try to have a serious political conversation on how Irish Catholics are the greatest people in the world and you turn it around on me calling me a fat little potato??
