hoping for some help

Hi all,
Well as you can see from the forum I am new I have been fighting weight all my life and thought that I had won the battle last year. I was living in Korea (so basically in a no fail environment, for a Canadian who doesn't like korean food) and I worked my ass off and got down to 192 lbs....and promised myself that I would never go above 200 again. I am really tall and have always stood out as the "tall and fat" girl so I was so happy to lose the fat bit. Anyway once I left Korea I traveled around south east asia for a few months and rediscovered my love of sugar. Long story short I am currently back in university in Australia and have managed to get myself back up to 213. I hate that I have done this because I know how good I felt last year but I can't seem to stop myself. I can't stop eating and I can't get myself off the couch to workout. I have been a secret eater my whole life and I don't know why!! I guess I figure if no one knows what I am doing then it is not really happening. This is the first time I have every talked about this openly so I am hoping that it is a step in the right direction.

So that is me and my weight issues in a nut shell. I am really looking forward to learning from all of you and hopefully succeeding again and staying there!!!

Congratulations on finding WLF. This has been the secret to my persistence. Free and abundant support and information and a reason to go on another day. You're gonna do it.

Alibran will become famous soon enough
Hi, and welcome. You've come to the right place to get all the support you need to help you lose the weight.

Admitting to what you are doing is a huge first step. Well done on taking it.

A lot of people here use websites to keep track of their eating and exercise. Two of the most popular are FitDay and SparkPeople. They are both free and are a great help when it comes to keeping your eating in check. Of course, you have to be honest with yourself and record everything you eat, though

What are your weightloss goals?
