Hello I'm Marissa. I'm from Charles Town, WV. I'm currently in the middle of my own weight loss battle. I've lost 63lbs. working on 100. I would just like to say Hello to everyone and post alittle about me. I'm 5'5 and weigh about 385lbs. my starting weight was 448lbs. Its the toughest thing I've ever done. I don't know what else to write but "Hello" to everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS on those 63 pounds behind you!! That is fantastic

You might consider creating a diary and telling us more about yourself so we can follow your journey as you reach your goals!

I am forever more inspired by the people on this site who don't let quit into their vocabulary!

I know when we're looking down the long road of weightloss, it can be beyond overwhelming - but each of the remaining pounds will come off just like the first 63, one at a time! With each pound you lose, you're proving to yourself not only that you CAN do it, but that you ARE!

How cool is that!?!

I would also like to congradulate you on your weight loss! You've done an awesome job!

I agree with M2M about starting a diary. I find it very helpful in keeping myself accountable, but not only that it's one of the best ways to receive support!

Good luck on the rest of your weight loss journey!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will consider creating a diary. I'm sure the support you all provide here will make it an easier journey than doing this alone.
I'll have to check out the diaries to see how you all do this but I'm sure it will help me to write about it. You're right about keeping yourself accountable I keep a food journal already. It really helps me keep myself accountable.
