After I got married, about 13 years ago, I went from around 170lbs up to around 220, where I stayed for several years. Last year I decided that I needed to lose the extra weight, and managed to get myself down to 195, but then bounced back up to around 205.
I still want to drop another 25-35 pounds. I know I can do it, and I've got a pretty good idea of how to safely lose that weight. It's just a matter of doing it.
Glad to have you hear. I suggest starting a journal here. That way you can track your progress and what you are doing. Many are able to build momentum by watching themselves progress within their journals overtime.
Plus, this way people who are "in the know" can see what you are doing and critique.
