Hiya

Hi everyone. I was on here once before but I stopped visiting when I got busy with school and found out I was pregnant. Well my daughter is now 1 month old & the spring quarter is almost over. I couldn't find or remember my login from before so I made another.

I am back trying to lose weight. The good news is that I am now 1 lb less than I was when I got pregnant and I wasn't trying to diet.

I had a revelation this weekend though. My MIL visited from out of town. I got married young & I went from high school to marriage. That was really the first time I was really home during the day. And we lived with my MIL for a while. My MIL eats almost constantly during the day. I have been trying not to snack during the day & realized when she was here how much I had been mimicking her habits. I am now redoubling my efforts. It seems to be harder today than it has been for a while. I think it's because I was exposed to that snacking mentality again.

So I have been drinking a LOT of black coffee today. It's keeping me from eating between meals when I am really not hungry. I am not gonna lie though, it's been really difficult this morning. I keep getting up an going into the kitchen and then I remember that I don't want to do that.

Well, at least you're remembering that you don't want to be in the kitchen And to be fair, there's nothing wrong with occasional snacks that are low-cal... From what I've learned from this site anyways lol

Hi,

welcome back to the site and good luck with the journey of losing weight. I have been seeing a nutritionist for a couple of months now and she said that it's okay to have snack, it can be fruits or some crackers. See you around.

Snacks

I know that healthy snacks when you are genuinely hungry are ok, but I am trying to get out of the habit of eating just because I'm bored or because I'm just sitting here. kwim?
