Hi everyone!
My name is Katherine. I'm 20 (almost) and I'm in college. I'm 5'8", weigh 256 now, would like to end up at 140. Eventually.
I've been tracking my
calories since Friday, and have hit my target of 1400-1500
calories every day. I've also been going to the
gym and biking 7+ miles on a recumbent stationary (so great! I must own one!), and walking a lot more...but it's really hot, so the
gym is much more pleasant than a jaunt around the neighborhood!
I don't own a scale. I think I'd be too obsessive about using it at home, so I'll make do with the ones available at the
gym and health center. I'd rather focus on doing the right thing for my
body, in terms of eating when I'm hungry and getting a challenging workout in on most days.
Anyway...that's it! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
