I debated on whether or not to post here but I ultimately decided to, obviously. I have always been overweight, well, obese actually. I decided that I had enough and started Weight Watchers in January of this year. So far I have gone from 306 to 241lbs but I really want to get down to about 185. I am 26 and 6'5 but I am still large. I know this may sound stupid but since my weight has never been "normal" I feel that my body is so used to being fat that I won't look right when I do reach my goal.
There are a few things that really discourage me about losing weight. First, my pants size has gone from a 42 waist to a 34-36 but I still need a 2x - 3x shirt. My chest is still large and it doesn't seem to be shrinking any. I am scared my stomach will shrink and I will have this huge chest and tiny waist making me look disfigured.
For those who have started big and lost a lot of weight, please assure me that I will even out eventually. Anyway, thanks for letting me post this and I hope to learn a little from this community.
