Well, I have been browsing this forum, and I thought I would join up now. I am a 20 year old female, 5 foot 7 inches and I weight close to 260 pounds A few months ago I was on a diet and exercise program and I got down to 215 pounds....I got lazy, stopped it, and now im right back up to 260...im so upset with myself. Lost 40 pounds, then gained it right back. Well Im sick of it, sick of being fat and unhealthy...and today is the start of my new lifestyle. Diet + exercise program. Wish me luck i know i can do it again...just might need a kick in the butt from time to time
Congratulations on deciding to start a new life. You deserve a life and a body that you are happy with, and you have the power to give both to yourself.
This forum is packed with fantastically good advice...read, read, read every day.
I defy anyone to do this and not be motivated to adopt a lifestyle that will induce weight loss.
You can do it. You can lose the excess weight. Many others have and so can you.
Do you like looking at before-and-after weight loss pictures? If you do, find some on the net, download them to your harddrive and play them back to yourself as a slide show. Before and after pictures help remind me that others have done it and that means I can too.
hope this helps.
Wishing you determination, persistence, and patience.
I read your post, and I just wanted to say that I know just how you feel. I am in the same situation. I lost about 30 pounds and have gained it all back in the last 6 months. It completly sucks. I had done so well and then out of nowhere I woke up and realized I was out of controll. And had gained back what I had lost. I came to this site hopeing to find someone I could talk to and help get me motivated. And I hope that I could help someone out also. So if you are interested please let me know. If not good luck on your journey.
