I am DETERMINED! Newbie :)

Hey everyone ... I am a newbie to this site. I was reading some of your posts and everyone is SO supportive! I really need support in order to do this. I have been trying to lose weight for as long as I can remember - I'm only 20 though - but I just never stick to anything long enough to see results.
Right now I am 5'11 tall and weight 207 lbs. I ultimatley want to get to about 160 in the long run but for now I am taking it pound by pound. I would be happy losing 20 pounds by November 2nd.
My battle plan is to watch my calorie intake and eat TONS of veggies and drink a gallon of water a day. Also, I want to work out at least 4 times a week every week. I used to work out all the time and then just quit and it's hard starting up again! But I know tht is what will really get the ball rolling.
My main key is motivation. I need support like this forum to keep me going. I am going to keep a diary of my foods everyday so people can give me input. Well - I am bound and determined to lose this weight finally and for good! I am not going to stop until I do!

with your determination it sounds like your up for the challenge! good luck and hope we can help you out along the way. you really dont need a gallon of water tho, half your weight in water is what you need about 104 ounces.

Hey there and welcome!... Glad you came aboard!.....As for how hard it is to start working out again....dont do it all at once...build yourself up.....1 st week do one thing..2nd week add more time or other exercise...
